The forest is arriving

I recently had the good fortune to be in Disneyland. One distinguishing characteristic of their Fantasyland is A LOT more foliage....

Edited to add this panorama of DL's Fantasyland. This is standing beside Dumbo, with Snow White's scary adventures on the left, and, um, trees on the right. Quite the difference, huh?

That's actually the exit area of Pinochio's Daring Journey dark ride on the left, with the Village Haus restaurant patio behind the trees in the middle, and the loading station for Casey Jr. Circus Train up in the trees on the right.

Snow White's Scary Adventures is further down to the left, out of the frame of your cool pano-picture. But as you get closer to the Castle in Disneyland's Fantasyland the trees get smaller and more sparse around the buildings. Here's Snow White's Scary Adventures, with just a few smaller pine and I think a Vine Maple right in front of the entrance.

They appear to be going after the same type of thing with the trees they are planting in the FLE at Magic Kingdom. And further away from the Castle the more trees you find!

But the point remains, lots of different types of established and mature trees really add to themed areas like Fantasyland. More trees in Fantasyland is going to be good change for the very wide cement walkways of Magic Kingdom Park!
