Exactly. In the EU, a number of the Grand Admirals took over and caused quite a bot of trouble for the New Republic. I imagine we shall see something similar in E7.Well, they destroyed the Death Star, but there were thousands of Star Destroyers still strewn about the galaxy. Just because the Emperor and Darth Vader aren't around, doesn't mean there aren't evil commanders still around to create havoc. Lot's of clean-up work and fighting to go!
Now watch teaser #2 Lego style!
Fun stuff.
Game of Thrones....SW style!Exactly. In the EU, a number of the Grand Admirals took over and caused quite a bot of trouble for the New Republic. I imagine we shall see something similar in E7.
Pretty much, just with fewer exposed lady parts.Game of Thrones....SW style!

I'm pretty sure you aren't alone on that one. I'm pretty sure we all nerded out a bit more than we care to admit. Anyone else been walking around saying "Chewie, we're home."
On that note..... anyone fall in love with Daisy Ridley already?
I'm telling you, I never had so much fun watching fan reactions to a trailer online. The reactions people had when Han and Chewie appeared on screen is fantastic. I wouldn't be kidding you if I told you I stood up and cheered when it happened.
Not ashamed to admit that I nerded out. I nerded out big time. Seeing Han & Chewie was the icing on the cake, but up to that point it was still an all-out overexcitement fest: The possibility that was Luke we saw sitting next to R2-D2...Kylo Ren fighting with his AWESOME crossguard lightsaber...Vader's helmet...the Falcon.I'm pretty sure you aren't alone on that one. But yeah, when Han & Chewie appeared, tears of joy almost started flowing.
I'm already bunkered down on the sidewalk next to my local Regal 18 theater (with stadium seating).Man I am not sure I can wait for this to come out.... This is going to be ONE hard ticket to be had on release night. I am going to have to fight to be first to see this.
That's exactly what it felt like. It...felt like Star Wars. It...looked like Star Wars. It...sounded like Star Wars. This one has the feeling of coming home after being gone for a very, very long time, like visiting old friends who have been away for decades...
At first glance, it looked like Mustafar where we see R2-D2 and the cloaked figure (Luke?) kneeling next to him. But on further observation, it appears to be a campfire nearby, not a volcanic planet.I find it funny how many people missed the Celebration interviews (or haven't caught up on them). That isn't Tatooine. (though it's a reasonable assumption, one we all had until Celebration where JJ said it wasn't).
It's not Mustafar. It's called Jakku, and it's not a world that I recall ever being mentioned in the prior G-Canon. It's a spaceship graveyard. At first glance, it looked like Mustafar (spelling?) where we see R2-D2 and the cloaked figure (Luke?) kneeling next to him. But on further observation, it appears to be a campfire nearby, not a volcanic planet.
And it goes by so fast, but does anybody else think it looks like Mustafar where Kylo Ren is fighting during that brief clip with his crossguard lightsaber?
