Exactly. In the EU, a number of the Grand Admirals took over and caused quite a bot of trouble for the New Republic. I imagine we shall see something similar in E7.

Not ashamed to admit that I nerded out. I nerded out big time. Seeing Han & Chewie was the icing on the cake, but up to that point it was still an all-out overexcitement fest: The possibility that was Luke we saw sitting next to R2-D2...Kylo Ren fighting with his AWESOME crossguard lightsaber...Vader's helmet...the Falcon.
But yeah, when Han & Chewie appeared, tears of joy almost started flowing.

This one has the feeling of coming home after being gone for a very, very long time, like visiting old friends who have been away for decades...

I'm already bunkered down on the sidewalk next to my local Regal 18 theater (with stadium seating). :D
There's plenty of open room in the area, so feel free to join! @Master Yoda is bringing camping equipment.

That's exactly what it felt like. It...felt like Star Wars. It...looked like Star Wars. It...sounded like Star Wars.

I wasn't terribly excited about the movie (though I'd go see it of course)...but after this trailer...woo boy!

Now the reaction vids are all over...I'm really enjoying these.

I find it funny how many people missed the Celebration interviews (or haven't caught up on them). That isn't Tatooine. (though it's a reasonable assumption, one we all had until Celebration where JJ said it wasn't).

At first glance, it looked like Mustafar where we see R2-D2 and the cloaked figure (Luke?) kneeling next to him. But on further observation, it appears to be a campfire nearby, not a volcanic planet.

And it goes by so fast, but does anybody else think it looks like Mustafar where Kylo Ren is fighting during that brief clip with his crossguard lightsaber?

It's not Mustafar. It's called Jakku, and it's not a world that I recall ever being mentioned in the prior G-Canon. It's a spaceship graveyard.
