The first park visited?

We usually like to visit Magic Kingdom. I don't really feel like I'm in the world until I can see main street with that castle up ahead! It also brings back the most childhood memories for me. :sohappy:

However, on our next trip, we are planning on visiting epcot first since we have dinner reservations there. I think we'll be fine since we really love epcot and some of the kids's favorite rides are there- they love test track and soarin.

Magic Kingdom. Going there the first night, seeing Wishes and then going to your hotel knowing that the next day is going to be incredible and you fall asleep thinking of you awesome night. Wow, that feeling is what I live for.

In a perfect world I always try and begin and end with MK. It is still my favorite park, although Epcot is a close second. I think it is a nostalgia thing for me. It reminds me of my youth and I have so many fond memories of it. There is nothing like walking down Main Street and seeing the castle. This is something that I never grow tired of.:)

DTD first night, but definitely Magic Kingdom on first full day. Like everyone else is saying; nothing beats walking down Main Street and seeing that castle for the first time to help put you in a Disney mindset. :sohappy:

I fly into Orlando in the morning or early afternoon. Usually, I go to Epcot the first evening for dinner, a couple attractions and Illuminations. Then for the first full day it's Magic Kingdom.

Though last June after leaving the airport I made a beeline for Animal Kingdom and Everest... I'd just missed the first previews by a couple weeks my previous trip, and I was dying to ride it right away.

Can't remember for sure, it was either Epcot or Magic Kingdom.

*checks photo's*

Oh apparently it was Animal Kingdom. I think we did that on purpose, because MK we assumed would be really busy seeing as we flew in on the busiest plane day as it were. And we were rigth actually, we found the parks a lot quieter than other people did :)

On most occasions I / We'll go to Epcot first, this park has allways had a special place in my heart and feel's like my home thats not a house.

Occasionally if we arrive for the Christmas period and we have a hard ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for the evening we arrive or the following day, The Magic Kingdom Park could be the first park we visit.

Usually is the MK with the first ride ALWAYS being the TTA. We watch EMH and plan accordingly for the rest of the trip. We do not go to a park that has morning EMH,

It usually depends on what time we arrive, what park is open late, etc. The first year I went it was Magic Kingdom--but then that was the only Park there! :ROFLOL:
Last year it was Animal Kingdom. This year it will be Hollywood Studios because of evening Extra Magic Hours.

We used to run straight for MK. Now we take our time. We spend the first day (usually arriving in the afternoon) at the the resort pool, then head to dinner somewhere. On our first official day we now head to AK. It helps DSs get into the swing of things by going there first it really gets everyone into all the walking that's going to be going on and even thought the lines may be long because the park is so big it doesn't feel like wall to wall people. We now spend day 2 at MK.

Magic Kingdom, mostly because we always stay at a MK resort. I love going through the gate and in two seconds, "I'm walkin right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A.".:sohappy: That is the "magic" for me.

We always do Magic Kingdom last because it is the most kid friendly. That way the kids can't say this is so boring compared to Magic Kingdom when we are at the other parks. Personally we like to start with Disney Hollywood Studios because it is a good warm up to some of the larger parks. Plus you can't really go wrong with a first night seeing Fantasmic. It really gets the magic going.
