The Fall Special at Disney

Don't know if ya'll have discussed this, but I just got a $500 dollar credit from Disney! I made my reservations in February for my October trip at the Contemporary. Tickets, airfare, and hotel totaled $4,700. I just noticed this past week that Disney is now offering a special on their website for the Oct. - Dec. months. I called them and asked if that special was available for my existing reservation. The lady told me that it wasn't at the Contemporary, but if I was willing to switch to the Polynesian I would save $500. You know I jumped at the chance right? No major construction and a more expensive hotel for less! :sohappy: :sohappy:

Just wanted to pass this on..sorry if it has already been discussed.

Omg that is amazing. I have never stayed at either because of the price but that is so cool that you got a more expensive hotel for less.

We have ressies at Old Key West in October, is it available there? What number do we call to find out about this?

I called about it last week. They applied the discount to my existing reservation at All Star Sports and it saved me $210. :sohappy:

All you have to do is call 407wdisney - the reservations agent will let you know if you qualify.

Since we are DVC members I'm assuming we don't qualify for this?

Is it a room only discount?

It is a room only discount - so if you are DVC I would guess that you don't qualify.

Does this apply through the month of December, because we have reservations at Pop Century for Christmas time, and I know it's the busiest time of the year, but that's when we go each year. It'd be really
great news. Thanks in advance.
