I have phonophobia so I hate fireworks. But everybody else loves them so I hope they stay

It's been talked about elsewhere on the forums. Usually by the same... member. It won't happen.

The next IllumiNations will probably use them as a supplement.

I'd be careful with that prediction, Disney could 'save' tens of millions with the drone show and only do fireworks 4'th and NYE When they need that boost in 'profits' would not surprise me to see that fireworks are on chopping block. Hey so far with the Cabana's and all TDO has shown total indifference to the guest experience why should this be any different.

Would enjoy a Drone show in ADDITION to the fireworks but with 'Today's Disney' that ain't gonna happen as it's all about the Benjamins these days.

I'm okay with them as a supplement. But as a complete replacement? No. I'll chain myself up to a shell and chant "hell no these won't go".
