The Disney Store and Apple joining forces!

So we were told at TDS that our new operating systems and registers will be Apple. We will also be getting eventualy touchscreen menus for guests to order park tickets and to book crusies. Also we will be getting the mobile checkout that Apple Store uses.

We have known about the registers for about a month but the partnership appears to be even deeper than we were told.

very interesting. I always assumed the mobile checkouts at the Apple Store were some sort of a Linux based device since it's not really an OS kind of thing.

No it won't, because it doesn't exist.
They don't even have a version to do that at the Apple stores, yet.

They are working on it, but it is down the road still.

Anybody know which disney store on long island is the one that is mentioned as veing redone first? Is it one in rosevelt field (same mall as the dvc store opening on oct 17)?
