Trip Report The countdown just hit zero - We’re in Disney right now!

Greetings fellow Disney lovers and welcome one and all to this happy place. As the title suggests I am in Florida right now, living the dream

Some of you will know me but for those of you who don't let's have a quick introduction as my 17 night trip has already started. Yes you read that right - 17 nights - whoooooo. Hoooooooo.


Me - Tracey - I absolutely love Disney, my house is covered in Disney - my first night in POR will see me spending 300 nights in my favourite place - I live in a bubble and the outside world frustrates me in terms of horrible, violent people but that's another story and not one for my trip report.


Chris - my husband, best friend and my rock. We've been married for 21 years and we still laugh and joke with each other. He never wanted to go to Disney but now his hooked - love me, love Disney!


We're in Florida from the UK for our 21st trip - I am fortunate to be able to afford this every year but I'm still jealous of all my American friends who can get cheap flights over regularly (and this who now live here) - this trip alone with overnight at a hotel before our flight, car parking, Disney, Kennedy and Universal tickets, car hire and hotel cost us in excess of £4000


It's a substantial amount of money but hey, the amount of memories we create we really don't mind and why we can afford it we will go......

Here we are last year.

This TR might be a little different from my last 3 - I’ve previously done daily updating every night which at times has seen me spending all day in the park and then writing till well beyond midnight. Those of you who have done TR’s will know the time they take (it’s certainly a commitment but we all do it to share our stories and our love of Disney so others can live through it all and help with Disney blues or countdowns to their own trips)

I’ve not had a holiday or break from work since March so I just need to chill!


That said since I’ve been here I’ve been writing every day (but not posted) - so our trip - so far - will be easy to post (as I’ll just copy and paste) and add photos of course!


After that though who knows as we’ll be into the Disney park part of our holiday (more about that shortly)

We’ll just see what happens and and I’ll update when I can for those of you who want to read it!

It makes waiting for our trip much easier. It looks like you are getting out of Disney at the right time. The weather map shows a lot of rain, and that with the huge crowds cant be fun. Have a good flight home

Happy belated birthday! Glad you had fun yesterday despite the crowds! That's the problem with late November birthdays (mine is tomorrow), they always fall so close to Thanksgiving (mine is actually on Thanksgiving every four years as I was born on Thanksgiving day), so it makes it hard to travel to WDW to enjoy without being mobbed!

Hi everyone - I am back at home in the UK - thankfully it’s not as cold as is normally is but still only 50 degrees

The washing is on, suitcases unpacked and bits everywhere

Just in case your wondering about our snack and meal credits this is what we brought back!

I think that will keep us going for a while!

I know this report was different from previous reports as this one mainly included photos but it was a great trip - my heart aches already - I just want to be in a Disney park so bad.

I got 10 rides in on BTMRR, saw beautiful Pandora and rode FOP 4 times which was amazing, I’ve laughed, cried and had a fab time and hopefully you have all enjoyed following along.

I might put a few more photos on here when I go through them all - we’ll see but for the time being quaharini

I think because they changed the quick service to just be a meal and drink and then doubled the snacks that helped - we used to have dessert just because it was included nd often didn’t want them - with them giving us 2 snacks instead of 1 this meant we could have what we wanted - still can’t believe we had so many left over though - but saying that we had about 7 meals over too and each meal converts to 3 snacks so that was 21 of them!

Love the photo of the snacks!!! Hope the flight was ok, especially travelling on your birthday. Really loved your repot and count of rides - sonloking forward to it myself. Will need to read othes for the next 12 months.

Believe it or not travelling on your birthday isn’t bad when you spend the morning in the Magic Kingdom - it would have been grim to be back in the UK so I’m happy.
And I’m with you for the next 12months too - reading other reports!

My birthday carriage is amazing - I know if my mum would have seen that she would have bought for me so I got it - funny but on my actual birthday it wasn’t even on display in the MK so I guess they sold out!

I think I get Disney much more than real life - I just love everything about it - it is about the only time I am really truly happy across the whole year - I don’t understand why in real life people can’t just get on and not hurt each other - it truly breaks my heart to hear some news reports of shootings and bombs etc - sometimes I just wish we could take all those horrible people and get rid of them somehow and start again with nice friendly people. Maybe this world would be a better place.
Or even better than that just let me live in Disney forever with Disney friends!

Your reports are written like I feel you get everything perfectly into words - but I think doing live means you have to cut corners due to time and facilities available.
Maybe one year I’ll do when I get home - I think you would truly feel the passion and thoughts I have whilst experiencing everything Disney has to offer.

Glad you loved the pictures (that’s pretty much what my reports was all about this year). I have over 2300 from this one trip alone! I knew it could be dangerous due to the new camera but didn’t quite predict that many
