The Brower's Terrific Triple Trip Report! :)

Welcome to the Brower’s Terrific Triple Trip Report! It is a little delayed, but we have had a busy holiday season. But let’s get started! Introducing the family: Dad, Mom, sister, Katie and Robert. We have been going to Disney since 1988 and have always wanted to write a trip report, so here it is:

First Trip: September 9-12
(Warning: Katie and Robert like to take millions of extra pictures. :D)

We started out this trip with the full intentions of writing a trip report afterwards, which meant that we took tons of pictures. But that's the best part of a trip report anyways, right? Some of the pictures came out a little fuzzy, but we'll try to get rid of any of those.
We arrived in Orlando bright and early in the morning and caught the magical express to Bay Lake Tower, our new favorite place to stay (our friends call it the Brower Tower). It has become a bit of a tradition to always eat breakfast at the Contemporary when our flight arrives early in the morning, so that's exactly what we did! After that, we made the short walk over to the Magic Kingdom and began our wonderful trip!

See? She just won't leave that spot. And now she's dragging others into it.

More to come soon! And hopefully not in the candy shop.

Where we left off, we were on our way over to Future World to see how crowded it was. It wasnt very crowded and Ashley wanted to ride Spaceship Earth, so that is where we went.

We had fastpasses for Test Track, and after Spaceship Earth it was time to use them. We made our way over to Test Track, of course making a stop in Mouse Gear to do a little shopping. When we got to Test Track mom decided she did not want to ride, so she found a spot to sit and the rest of us got in line. For some reason the fastpass line and the stand by line were extremely short, and the single rider line was very long. We weren't sure why it was like this, but we weren't complaining, it meant we didn't have to wait very long!

DadsDisneyHalloween2010386.jpg

Dad really liked this car!

DadsDisneyHalloween2010388.jpg

And here's mom with all of our stuff!

We had reservations at T-Rex for dinner, so it was almost time to head back to Bay Lake Tower to rest for a few minutes and get ready for dinner, but we still had a few minutes. We decided that a trip would not be complete for Heather without going back to Japan and having some Kaki Gori. We know it is just shaved ice, but it is sooooo good! We fought back through the crowd and found a quiet spot to eat our Kaki Gori.

DadsDisneyHalloween2010391.jpg

Then it was time to head to the monorail!

We got back to the room, took a very short rest, and changed to warmer clothes for the night. Then it was time to head to Downtown Disney!

Up next...

Heather's first dinner with dinosaurs!

When we got to Downtown Disney we still had some time before our dinner reservations, so we walked around and did a little shopping. When it was almost time for our reservation we made our way over to T-Rex and checked in. We were seated in no time since we had a reservation. After ordering, Katie, Heather and Robert decided to walk around and look at the different dinosaurs.

This was Heather's favorite dinosaur.....

...Until it started moving its head towards her when she didnt expect it

After walking around and looking at all of the dinosaurs, we went back to our seats and our food had just arrived. We had a lot of food, and it was all very good! We were also celebrating Ashley's birthday at this dinner, so dessert was brought out for her!

After dinner it was time to do a little more shopping! Since we were already almost there, we walked over to the West Side because we don't go over there very often.

DadsDisneyHalloween2010416.jpg

After looking around and taking some pictures, we headed back to the bus stop but not before taking this picture...
DadsDisneyHalloween2010424.jpg

When we got back to the room it was late once again, but we had to pack up some, because our flight was the next day. We also planned on getting up early again the next morning to get in another morning at the Magic Kingdom.

Sunday morning we were up early to the sad realization that it was the day we were going home. We quickly got ready, packed up everything, and went over to the Contemporary for one last breakfast at the Contempo Cafe. After breakfast we checked in our luggage and left our carry ons with bell services, and we were off to the Magic Kingdom!

DadsDisneyHalloween2010425.jpg

We had already gone on almost everything Heather wanted to ride at the Magic Kingdom, and since we go frequently we did not have anything we had to ride. This made the morning nice and relaxing. We basically rode whatever didn't have a long line.

DadsDisneyHalloween2010434.jpg

So first up was POTC!

After riding a few more things we head to BTMRR and it didn't have much of a line either!

Wow, it has been forever since writing on this trip report, but I am determined to finish it! Where we left off, we were spending our last morning at the Magic Kingdom. BTMRR did not have a long line, so we decided to ride that.

After BTMRR we walked through Fantasyland and went on a few more rides, and then made our way back down Main Street to head back to Bay Lake Tower. Of course, we did have to make a quick stop at the candy store for Katie to stock up on sweets for the way home. After the walk back to Bay Lake Tower and waiting a few minutes for the bus, we were back on the Magical Express headed back to the airport. By this time we were exhausted, and knowing that we were coming back in about two weeks made it not so sad to leave.

Just two short weeks after returning home from our October trip, it was time to head back to Orlando for our November trip, including MVMCP!! It had been many years since we had been to Disney World at Christmastime, so we were very excited, and were just rested up enough from our last trip! This time we headed down to Orlando Wednesday night, November 10th. By the time we got on the Magical Express and on Disney property, it was getting late, and we had not yet had dinner. Since we were staying at Bay Lake Tower, we decided to get off the bus at the Polynesian and stop at Captain Cook's for a quick dinner. After eating we looked around a little bit then got on the monorail headed to the Contemporary. We quickly checked in and went to our room. We had to wait a while for our luggage to arrive, and we were about to just go to sleep in our clothes when we got the call that our luggage had arrived! After it got to our rooms, we quickly got ready for bed, knowing that we would be up early the next day for the Magic Kingdom!

Thursday morning we ate breakfast at the Contempo Cafe before heading to the Magic Kingdom.

Our first sight of the Christmas decorations!

We didn't really ride that much this morning, we just walked around and took in all of the Christmas decorations. I'm sure we also did a little shopping, since the Christmas merchandise was now out. Around lunch time we went back to our room and went to Downtown Disney for lunch at Rainforest Cafe.

After lunch we did some shopping. After spending about half of the afternoon at Downtown Disney, we got on a bus to EPCOT. I really don't think we rode anything this night, we mainly walked around taking in all of the Christmas decorations and taking pictures.

I can't really remember what we ate for dinner, I have a feeling whatever it was was not that great. After dinner we spent some time walking around World Showcase. As we got close to Germany, Katie remembered the new caramel shop. On our previous trip the line had been so long so we had decided not to wait. Katie was determined she was going to get something from there this time, but as we got close to Germany we could see that the line was out the door.

Where we left off, we were in World Showcase headed toward the caramel store in Germany. The line was really long but Katie and mom were determined to get something this trip, so they made everyone wait. While Katie and mom waited in line, Ashley, Robert and dad took pictures with the wishing well outside, since Ashley's favorite movie is Snow White.

Katie and mom bought a few caramel treats, but didn't take any pictures. After getting out of the store, we walked around the rest of World Showcase and got on the monorail going back to Bay Lake Tower. When we got back to the Transportation and Ticket Center, we walked over to the Polynesian to check out the stores, and then rode the monorail to the Grand Floridian to check out their stores. Then we got back on the monorail and went back to the Contemporary for Ashley, Robert and dad to get a snack, and to fill up our mugs.

After everyone getting a snack, we walked back to Bay Lake Tower, and Katie and Ashley retreated to their room because it was almost 10 on a Thursday, which meant it was time for an all new Private Practice!!! :sohappy:
After watching tv, everyone decided it was time for bed because we were getting up early the next morning.

Then we walked over to the Magic Kingdom, to ride rides in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, and to walk around Toontown and take more pictures since it would be our last time to visit it.

NOTE: ROBERT WOULD LIKE FOR EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT HIS NOSE LOOKS REALLY DIFFERENT IN THIS PICTURE!!!!!!!!!

DSCN8633.jpg

After lunch we decided we needed to go back and take a little nap, since we were going to MVMCP that night. As soon as we got back to the room, Robert started to feel bad. After taking a nap he still didn't feel good, so dad and Robert stayed in the room and Ashley, Katie and mom went back to the Magic Kingdom. After a while Robert started to feel a little better, probably because dad had given Robert so much medicine. We all met up on Main Street to enjoy the party.
