The BEST Of The Superbowl Commericals!

Wow the quality of the SB commercials really dropped this year. There was no standout like the Running of the Squirrels.

The best one this year: "don't be quick to judge" when the guy at the convenient store counter says "you guys are getting robbed," and the guy and his wife just attack him with bats and tasers.

Watching American Dad right now. Woohoo!

Hands-down, the FedEx/Kinko's "10 Things Neccesary for a Great Super Bowl Commercial" commercial.

I agree that was a funny commercial.

I also liked the trailer for the movie "The Longest Yard" I can't wait till that comes out.

It has been on TV....it just could not be shown during the Super Bowl......it was not a FCC thing, it was a NFL thing.

Yep, Yep. The Troops in the airport was REAL NICE. I'm a bit biased, but I liked the Mustang Convertable spot. That is one good looking car.

Definitely the Anheiser-Bush commercial congratulating the troops returning home.

How about the one for MBNA (?) with all the superheros and Underdog ?

Or the one with "getting everyone together (at the dinner table), with Charlie the Tuna ("i'm filled to the gills.") , the Jolly Green Giant, Mr. Clean. etc?

Was I the only person who was a little offended by Anheiser-Bush doing the "Salute the troops" commercial? It was a blatent attempt to sell more products appealing to the military/military family demographic. Maybe I just don't trust companies enough.

Eh, I wouldn't say that. In fact, military and their families actually get in free to the AB parks for a day right now. AB has somewhat of a history of "tribute" ads from time to time. Anyone remember the one of the Clydesdales kneeling and bowing their heads at Ground Zero? :)

Considering how surprisingly rare something like that happens in real life, I thought it was wonderful. It almost had me in tears, simply because it was truly heartfelt. If they had a bunch of people with beers in their hands I would be offended, but since the actual "advertising" aspect of it was minimal, I thought it was phenominal.

It had all of ESPN Club clapping at the end of the commercial.
