Hey everyone,

So far (and for after the game), what are your favorite commercials?

I've gotta say that the Bud Light one where they were in the plane, and the guy wouldn't jump, so he through out the pack of Bud Light, and the pilot saw it, and dove out of the plane after it!!

And the other one just recently for Diet Pepsi. It was an attractive man walking down a city street drinking a Diet Pepsi and all the girls are noticing him as he walks by. Then, Carson from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy walks by and notices him and has that "OMG!!!" expression and starts to follow him. It was really funny...

I agree on the Bud Light one - loved it!

It was in the pregame, but I also loved the one with the chimp walking around doing the "Can you hear me now?" thing while talking into a banana. :p

I liked the Diet Pepsi commercial with P. Diddy and the Diet Pepsi truck. Everyone thinks that's his personal car so they all start driving them, even Carson Daly.

I also like the Ameriquest one with the cat and the spilt sauce pan.

But in general the commercial are kinda sub-par this year.

I woould have to say the Degree commercial BY FAR!!

For those of u who don't remeber: the commercial was basically like a fake infomecial of all these dolls who were so called "mama's boy's." And then it showed the mom hasseling the sons saying things like: you'll miss me when I'm dead. Also, on the box of the "mama's boy's" it said: 'spinal-cord not included.'

I thin kthe commercials this year were bad........even of the "better" commercials, there were no classics.

It was almost as bad as the dot.com year.

Yup, the commercials as a whole get thumbs down from me this year. There were some good ones, but certainly none that will go down as all-time greats for me.

I agree, alot of them just weren't funny. Some were offensive and bad taste. The only ones I liked were the ones with the animals trying to be like the Budweiser Donkey, and the one with the people applauding the Iraq soldiers returning home. The one that truly made me excited was the War of the Worlds commercial. It looks incredable!

Those were my favorites too, but even those do not compare with previous years.

Budweiser and Pepsi are always the two giants of Super Bowl commercials......Pepsi wasted a few of their spots on the I-pod thing, and the others were not as good as previous years. Bubweiser was down a few notches as well.

USA Today always does the ad-meter for Super Bowl commercials.....it will be an interesting read tomorrow.
