Actually, Magic Journeys to EO to Honey! wasn't bad. I don't care for Honey! at all, but it was a good change as it is one of the most popular attractions at EPCOT.

This is a hard one to vote on because I think everyone liked all the original rides...but also like the replacments...

LoL..just to annoy you grizzly...I chose WoM to TT ;)

Personally, I think they are all bad as well. Although you didn't list it, the change I hate the most was the renovation of Tomorrowland in 1994 when the old cheezy 1950s vision of the future Tomorrowland was changing into what it is today. I don't know about anybody else, but I like the retro feel of the old Tomorrowland. I love the old 1950s "sci-fi" vision of the future... sort of like how Walt envisioned EPCOT.

I think the change from Universe of Energy to Ellen's Universe of Energy was an improvment for kids! Even though the information has been "dumbed down", the old attraction was boring for small children! They had to wait through a boring pre-show, see a few cool dinosaurs, then sit through a boring movie....mine always fell asleep, and then I would be stuck carrying her out! I know some people don't like Ellen, or the whole Jeopardy Show concept, but I think it's an improvement, and that's my opinion! :p

World of Motion was cool, but I do like Test Track. I really don't understand why some people consider it such a bad ride. :veryconfu

Great! You're speaking to an Anti-Test Tracker!

Hmmmm...reasons WoM was better than TEST TRACK...uck...I'm going to call TT IT from now on.

1) IT is a five minute thrill ride. Okay, so IT is a thrill ride and people think EPCOT needs it....well, it really does it, but it does attract guests. IT, unfortunately, is not the imaginative, classic, and truly innovative idea that we would like out of the Disney Company.

2) IT breaks down. It does...guaranteed each day. And IT is open weather permitting. So, not only did IT replace the classic World of Motion pavilion but is also closed at any notice. IT is in a 20 year old pavilion...

3) Unlike other great pavilions (remember, they are technically like "lands"), IT is just the ride. IT's quick. A scream and you're done. And a couple of bumps and a heat wave....but that's all. The Land has not only a ride, but also two shows and even room for two more restaurants. JII (used) to have a nice Image Works, a fountain area, and a 3-D show. UoE (and Horizons) has an excuse...it's long! WoL is basically a bunch of attractions. You ride IT and you get five minutes. No creativity really. For a thrill ride, yes it does have a story (thank goodness) but I find it quite unimpressive and saddening to compare it to the majestic World of Motion and old TransCenter...

So if you want 3 hours waiting and 5 minutes screaming...(granted that it won't break down first), be my guest. I'll prefer more ride...and remember the days when it was "Fun to be Free."

from a tech point of view I likeITBUT from a ride/wait time it is not worth it I always do the single rider line even if my friends and i have to be split up WHO CARES... But Grizz I see some of your points also. Just imagine how long the line for Mission Space is gonna be when IT breaks down

Well, I see your point, but unfortunately, you're probably part of a smaller crowd who prefers WoM over Test Track. I'm referring to the general public.. Test Track and Mission: Space alone will make Epcot be considered a "cool" park to anybody that thought it was boring(and a lot of people do...).

I realize you're all for preserving the classic Disney World, and I am too to a certain extent, but what was fun to a WDW veteran is boring to a first time visitor.

I wouldn't go as far as saying there would be no need to go to Epcot if there was no TT; but I do feel it is a nice change to Future World. Even though I would still be happy with WoM still there, I think it freshens up Epcot a bit. Although deep in my heart, I still think Epcot is a place for learning, not necessarily thrills.

most people like Test Track...and I learned about as much about cars from it as I did from World of Motion...only this ride goes 10 times faster and has the longest track of any ride at disney world. So, while you call it short, I call it the longest ride disney has...SO THERE!

Wait..you could have learned more about CARS...not necessarily motion.
