Who is your favorite cast member? Do you remember? Maybe you don't remember the persons name, but can you think of what he/she did to make your vacation magical?

There is/was a Cast Member named Jeremy working at the Tower of Terror. He was either in the Library or loading the elevators. I think that get should get an Academy Award. He was really good at what he did.

There was a cast member who worked at the 50's Prime Time cafe. She was also written in an artice in the Disney Magazine as well. I went to MGM after that article, met her, and she served us. I can't remember her name, but she was by far the nicest, humblest, and funniest CM's I've ever met. She's my favorite!

In the shops on Hollywood Blvd at MGM, there is a cast member named Nancy who is great! She'll point out some fun secret stuff in the park if you ask her.

This is a great thread. I'll bring back some nominations from our September trip. I think we're supposed to post this stuff on the awards forum, but I never visit it. I have seen some great CM's but can't remember their names.

My vote goes to the housekeeper we had during our stay 2 years ago at Caribbean Beach.

You know how they make those little rabbits out of the washcloths? Our first night there we had bought a stuffed animal and the next day she left it with a rabbit and a card (it was our honeymoon). Every day we would put the animals into some kind of situation before we left, and when we returned we would find that she had done the same. As the week went on it got REALLY crazy. I even videoed them all so we could remember. One time we caught her in the act! It was like walking in on Santa Claus

Ok i am not being serious. It was Cindy who worked in DisneyLand. She worked in one of the main street stores. She went out of the way to wrap, package and ship all the things I bought to be shipped home. Then, the next day she invited my friend and I back on her to have a personal day of fun in the park. She introduced us to everyone. I wrote a very nice letter about her and she sent me a thank you. What a sweetie. And cute too. Just dont tell my fiance....

There was a cast member on the Great Movie Ride who has this little kid crying on the ride so he brought him into the storyline and he made the kid part of all the movie scenes we went through and interacted lots with him...it was great!

3 of them of course...

the first one is: ME! Without ME a WDW trip would be dull and boring.

the second one is: MYSELF! When I'm at WDW, I can always trust MYSELF to make this the best trip to WDW, ever.

and the third one is: I! Only I can make the difference between a trip to WDW, and THE trip to WDW,

Since I have never met mktiggerman, I would have to say our waitress at Coral Reef Restaurant, every time she came around she was very nice to us. Actually, I think every cast member I've ever spoken to was extremely nice. :)
I WILL be a Cast Member one day!

There was a custodial working at the Land Pavillion a few years ago that (litterally) swept me off my feet. LOL He was really good looking and such a nice guy. We were just standing around when he came by to sweep, and started sweeping my feet. We then stood around talking for a little bit. I thought it was a quite interesting way to get to talk to someone :)

Another time, we were eating at the Rose and Crown and it was our waitresses last day, but you would think it was her first. It was the best service and she was absolutely the friendliest waitress I have ever had. She told us all about where she was from in England, she told us a bit about the CM life...it was a great meal.

yay maybe someday I'll be your favorite castmember :sohappy:

We have a few favorites. DH and I adore Cathy at the Crystal Palace. Always so sweet, friendly and cheerful. DS 1 loves Lipoa at the Polynesian. She is so special. Can't say enough good things about her and DS 2 and 3 like Jimmy from the MK. He will never tell them who he is really is. But every cast member gets a thank you from us. They all do a super job bringing us the magic.

Ooh, I thought of another one!

One time at Epcot, 2 years ago, I was filming the fiber optic sidewalk (I was making a tape for Grandma who would love WDW but will never get to go). A castmember saw me taping and asked me to film him. Then he started dancing

It's not much, but it made my night. I made a tape for myself too and of course he is on there. Goofy people make me laugh. John was just looking at him, shaking his head
