I was looking forward to going to AC for a whole year, and when we got there, and got inside, it was closed for a $&#@ private party. (there was no sign out front stating it was closed):cry:

Needless to say I marched back to the ticket booth and got my money back.

I prefer Mainquins over 8trax. Better music, better lights, and a ROTATING DANCE FLOOR! That right there is free entertainment. Watching duncks trying to negotiate getting on the dance floor!:lol:

There's a new club there that plays Top 40 only, so I'm sure that if you MUST hear Britney, they'll play it. I have to say this about the DJ's at PI: They are REALLY cool about playing requests.

I loved Comedy Warehouse! Adventurer´s Club was also fun!
I´m not sure if the Beach Club is still called that way, but wasn´t my favorite to dance at. I liked 8trax better. Mannequins was fun to go and try to dance in the rotating floor without getting dizzy! :lol:

answer to question #1... we were there on 29 October. Halloween was reserved for MNSSHP :)

answer to question #2... yes, that is a kilt I was wearing. And only the wife knows if I am a true scotsman or not ;)

Have you been to Mannequins on a REALLY busy night? Trying to get on that spinning floor is one thing, but after the shot guy/gal comes around a few times, getting OFF that thing turns into a thrill ride! ;)

AC is really great we went this past oct. and when we went to AC my dad got choosen to be a bodygaurd for the Goddess (her name s;lips me at the moment) i am proud to be an owner of an adventurer's club pin! :D only found at AC.

We love the adventuer's club! We go each and every time we go to PI, last month in fact it was the only club that we went to. My husband was promptly nicknamed Wine Boy and our friend was asked to juggle. We had the best time. It seems that we always become part of the show (my husband is not shy at all!) I don't have a scanner or I would post the pics! Definately, the best club, we even brought the girls with us (8 and 10 yrs old) and they had a blast!!:lol:

Club. I love the Adventurers Club it is a lot of fun the actors
are the best I go there every year and more then one time
i dont care its a lot of fun people should try it :lol:





PS. its better then the Comedy Club.

I'm so glad that you all replied to this thread I started!If you love the AC then try this website www.theadventurersclub.net I came across it ages ago it's very cool.My fiance and I are so obessed with AC that we have taught all our friends the song,handshake and the club creed is about to hung outside our front door!

You are definitely right! getting on the floor is easy...getting OFF the floor is another story! :lol: Plus... you need to make sure there is room for you on the other side when you jump out of it! :animwink:

Wow, I realized that it has been 2 years since I last went to AC. I thought it was great. I went once with a co-worker and his ex-wife, and once with a friend who lives down in Florida. My co-worker and I will occassionally throw out a Kungaloosh when no one expects it.

As for Maniquins, I agree with the challange of the dance floor. I do know that I turned around to find some gay guy 'dancing' behind me. Good thing I've got a sense of humor, and am not a homophobe. I don't know if this happens every night or not, so guys consider yourselves warned. My friend says it is every night while I've heard from others that it is only one or two nights.

You can count on it on Thursday nights -cast member´s night-. It´s a shame... you see this gorgeous man dancing with another one! What a waste! LOL :animwink:

No problem! The last time I went in June I took a digital camera with a large memory card and took over 500 pics! Silly, eh?
