ToT??

and they make up for it with the amount of rooftop and ground level mini shows which also draw huge crowds.
Having watched videos of the Paris shows, I think their stunt show set up is far superior to DCA's. Our balcony has TERRIBLE views at DCA. There is no place to get a view that isn't half-blocked by the railing. Was very impressed by the Black Widow stunt show in Paris - plus they get
Spidey showing up
at the end. The Dora Milaje training show has props and much more choreography in Paris. The Guardians dance show gets F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s synchronized screens in the background. The Thor & Loki show is super cute. The Avengers Heroic Welcome is an awesome chance to see a bunch of characters appearing together.

I love the shows at DCA, but Paris did a great job with their Campus entertainment.

And on the subject of WEB SLINGERS (which admittedly I love for both the theming and the workout lol) - it's everything that the Universal ride is not - an all heights, all ages, family attraction. And unlike Midway Mania which I can't ride, WEB SLINGERS does not produce motion sickness because you move in front of physical sets and then stop in front of the screens. An excellent solution.

I think he's referring to Mission Breakout scenes existing in both rides, despite WDSP not having Mission Breakout. Photo of the scene from a WDSP POV below.
Gotcha. But that doesn’t spoil anything in the Paris ride; if you haven’t ridden the oil rig tower in DCA you wouldn’t know. Indeed, the DCA tower exterior visual in the last scene is replaced in Paris with the Flight Force gravity building.

Does anyone have any updates on this? I saw a couple of recent on-ride videos on youtube, and it seemed pretty much the same ride

I rode this in March (the last time I posted, I just kept meaning to and haven't) and yeah I have much the same complaints as everyone else. The queue is really well done, then just yikes, RnRC with fewer lights than before!

Glad its getting some updates, but how anyone at Disney rode it and thought to open it like that is mind-boggling. Though I feel like the improvements will only sort of bring it back to RnRC levels, I wish they had the capacity (and budget), just to knock it down and do an Iron Man/Captain Marvel version of Cosmic Rewind, just so the track is properly built to the visuals (And its likely to fast a coaster, to actually really consider those visuals before just hopefully not being in the dark 😂).

Web-Slingers is fine for what it is, I just think neither Campus has that big anchor to go with it, and it feels a little disappointing on its own. Would have also liked them to have put the effort into swapping the Mission Breakout scene with Flight Force or something from Paris.

Both Campuses could do with somewhere better to watch the stunt show (we had a very limited part of the stunt in March and no Dora Milaje but lots of characters appeared in the last hour of operation in various little shows all appearing to say bye on the Quinjet platform, the Thor/Loki thing and Guardians Dance Off) or just walking around which was loads of fun!).

Hopefully Paris also eventually gets Rogers the Musical, especially during the colder months when they are not doing the stunt show 👀

Sorry kind of turned into some rambling thoughts on the DLP Avengers Campus there instead of flight force.

I did like them swapping the DCA exterior backdrop for the Paris coaster building. The show scene itself didn’t scream to me ”this is from a ride in California” but maybe that’s just me.

I don't really disagree with any of this, but I will say that it's not like the ride part of RnRC was the pinnacle of a themed experience. The queue and load areas were great, but the the ride was just dark with some blacklight cardboard cutouts.

Most likely, I feel like it had a few more lights (but just lights 😂) But it could just be an expectation after waiting for the refurb, doing the queue which is such a big improvement...and then getting that experience. (Plus opening Cosmic Rewind over in WDW I don't think has helped its case, in that its what Flight Force is trying to do but purpose-built for it).

It has potential. With more visuals. Better timings. Bigger visuals. More effects. Varied visuals. Etc. etc. etc.

I think what it shouldn’t try is to be like the Epcot box coaster. That might be even harder from a punters point of view.
