The Apprentice 3: Book Smarts vs. Street Smarts

5/19 is the absolute, last episode, and finale for Apprentice 3. Trump wanted it to be only one hour because he hated season 2's 3 hour long finale. Look for a tight show with a winner announced about half way thru. Also, no boardroom. THe finale takes place in a courtroom setting.

Oh what a shocker! Kendra won!!! :lol: :lol: 
Tana is so stupid! She was going on and on about how she came up with the shape of the brochure for the Pontiac task. :brick: Okay we get it. You came up with the shape, but how much would they have loved the shape with nothing in the brochure? It looked like the Magna Corp team was kinda unsettled, I wonder if they were talking about how much of a fool she looked like. It seemed like the only bad things they could think of to say about Kendra is stepping up to be project manager late and crying in the boardroom. But everytime Tana tried to build herself up it seemed like she got knocked down for it.
This finale was pretty boring, they recapped every episode and that took like 20 minutes, then there was a commercial about every five minutes. And last week they showed the 6 employees going into the boardroom to talk about kendra and tana and they never showed that today? I'm glad Kendra won though.

I'm glad he chose Kendra, it gives me great faith to watch the next season.
Can you imagine how Tana's teammates felt last week when they watched her act like such a @#$%! towards them, behind their backs, on national television? It looked as though Chris would not even look in her direction during the show. And then she explains how she made a "mistake" and had apologized to them. I bet she did upon finding out that they would be her jury a week after her two-faced attempts at managing were aired. I can't believe that Kristen actually took up for her. She is one of those people that takes advantage of people and smiles in their face before she stabs them in the back. Now America knows it. I wonder how her Mary Kay sales will be now? I'm just reminded of the movie "Mean Girls"
I am happy that Kendra still had the grace to include Tana and Craig in the Pontiac task. Tana was really reaching when she was freaking about the shape of the brochure. Interesting thing about that task was that Kendra added the place for a CD and business card, did all of the photo chop work and all of the print. but like tana said, she picked the shape. Bravo Tana:hurl:!
I found Kendra's anwers really impresive too. Likewise I found Tana really put off balance. I'm really surprised that there was no mention of Tana's failure to take care of the governer of NY on the last task. She really was insulting to his staff and to him for not recieving him properly and wasting his time. Could you imagine her working with delegates from around the world???:lol:
I was really surprised that the issue of Kendra not "stepping up" earlier was brought up. most tasks she was a member of were won due to her marketing skills. But, I guess that they had to say something, it wouldn't have been suspensful if it were just a Tana bashing show.
A point of interest: Kendra and Chris are going into the real estate business together! Never saw that coming but it makes a whole lot of sense. It was fun to watch Tana complain that Chris and Kendra had never been on a project together and watch Chris pul the rug out by telling everyone that they are now working together! Wow! It's great to see that they took the opportunity given to them and developed some great working relationships from it. i imagine that after working in close proximity with someone for a lenghty amount of time it would make sense to combine talents.

The whole format of that "finale" show need a HUGE re-work. Boring and unimaginative. Even the set and location were awful.
Anyone else think they should have had Troy and Quami in the wings to console Tana??? :lol:
Oh well...on to next year! Anyone up for an EAST COAST VS. WEST COAST version???

Jeff Probst does such a great job with the Survivor finale/reunion shows that it makes these Apprentice finales look all the worse by comparison. First off, Trumpy is a businessman, not a TV host (clearly). Second, very few of the fired candidates had any screen time. I want to see the finale move along, but I also want to see each person get at least one sentence in. Probst is a master at making sure that happens. Finally, don't wait so long to announce the winner. It was painfully obvious after last week's show that Kendra had it in the bag. Give her the job early in the show, then have some fun chatting with the contestants about interesting stuff we didn't see.

Yeah I also found it funny when Tana pointed out that Chris and Kendra never worked together, but they actually are going into business together now.
So is there going to be an apprentice 4 with donald trump and another apprentice with Martha Stewart? I heard Martha Stewart is going to be under house arrest during the production of the show. :lol:

From what I've heard, the Martha Stewart show will be on Wednesdays with The Hair keeping Thursdays.

Trump was on Howard Stern a couple of weeks ago and asked about doing a black vs. white Apprentice. Trump said he was just throwing it out there, but Howard told him he was nuts.
About the Finale...Too many commercials. The show is basically one long commercial for the product of the week, but they crammed 2 hours of commercials into a 1 hour show. Trump is not a good interviewer, that's why Regis was brought in for last season's finale. That didn't work either.
Gen X is right on about Jeff Probst. Survivor finales with him at the helm are so much better then when Bryant Gumbel or Rosie O'Donnell hosted them. He gets in his questions, let's the people answer, and cuts them off when they go on too long or calls them on it when they don't answer the question. Plus, I saw Jeff's girlfriend (Julie from last season) and she is incredible.
