It looks great. My only complaint is that the London scene looks, meh... now. You can tell that's it's a lighted, painted floor not tiny little buildings that really sold the effect. Everything else looks wonderful though.

Yeah... That's a disappointment.
DPB never said anything about new animatronics.
The new nursery scene is WAY better than the creepy and static figures that were there previously. I noticed they added new dialogue as well. Need to ride it for a full opinion.
Now if they could just give Pinocchio and Toad something...

DL's Pan didn't have multiple buildings sticking up from the floor. I want to say the Big Ben was the only building...there may have been another one, can't remember. It's always looked like a painted city.

Yeah, it puzzles me a bit too. Seems like it was closed for an awfully long time for what amounts to a few new projection effects. It's nice and all, but this is a mild refresh as opposed to a full reboot.

In fact, it makes me wonder what is in store for Paris and Tokyo, both of which have very long Pan refurbs on their calendars.
They obviously didn't want new animatronics because they had no plans of changing the figures towards the end of the ride.
What we got is fine, but more would have been nice. The new shadow is so cool.

I remember purists were complaining about Alice's new effects when the ride opened back up, saying the "classic feel" was taken away. Maybe that's why Disney toned it down for Pan.

Alice was probably my favorite dark ride in Fantasyland.
It is arguably the most unique FL dark ride, that's for sure. It is also the longest one of the five. It's a great ride.

Not watching a video until I see it in person, but it seems that they didn't go overboard on the projections, like in Alice, and I'm glad for that.

I don't think Alice went overboard. The projections are seamless and greatly enhance the sets in place, creating a wonderful animated film effect.

I'm surpirsed they didn't add the fiber optic effect to the scene where Peter is at the wheel of the ship like in Paris.
That ride is nearly identical to the California version, so I expect it to get the same upgrades next year when it closes for 5-6 months.
