The 3rd Annual WDW March Madness - RESULTS

After a few weeks of intense voting and even more intensive math, the tournament has come to a close. Our final 2 matches couldn't have been any closer, both being decided by one vote.

In the consolation match, a classic won over the relative new comer to take 3rd place in the tournament...

Spaceship Earth def.
Kilamanjaro Safari (9-8)

Finally, in our championship game, last year's defending champion was knocked off in the the end by the slimmest of margins...

The Twilight Zone - Tower of Terror def.

I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the voting for this year's tournament. Especially those who did the tedious seeding round.

I'd also like to give "props" to Wilt Dasney for starting this concept 2 years ago.

If I get the time I will post some stats about voting etc.

Woohoo!!! I gotta say you did a fantastic job...I wish I would've been around to vote more but it just fell at the wrong time

Aaaactually, it was

Year 1: Splash Mountain
Year 2: Haunted Mansion
Year 3: Tower of Terror

I'm glad we've had 3 winners in 3 years. It contributes to parity, like in the NFL (except one team has won 2 out of the last 3 Super Bowls...err...never mind).

Thanks for keeping this baby alive for another year, DarkImage...I know what a commitment it can be.

Thanks everyone...I had alot of fun doing it...and all it cost me was a few weird looks from co-workers as I added up to seedings and votes.

Looking forward to next year!
