Sit down....no i'm serious....sit down. Now. Are you sitting....????? Okay, assuming you are no where near sharp edges and knives and you took my advice and are actually sitting down...I will give my answer. I have only ever tried one cupcake at WDW!!! So that ONE gets my vote. The chocolate cappuccino deliciousness from Pizza Planet.

In my defense....as if there could be one....I was intending on doing the cupcake tour in Sept last year but after eating AND drinking around the world, we decided to give it a pass. And will be doing it in Feb 2014. I know, I'm shaking my head in disbelief at myself.
I was sitting,but I jumped up when I read your answer.:jawdrop:..

Good Morning Everyone...Now can any of you remember our favourite Crush Dude ( yes,he's still here, lurking in the background :cautious: ) But that dude was a great help when people were asking about the beloved Cupcake..He even put on a chart with pictures of them..However last weekend I was celebrating a friends kids 5th birthday party, and a local girl makes designer cupcakes, and one of them was a delicious Red Velvet one..:hungry::hungry::hungry:...Oh!...memories came flooding back.It has got to be my favourite at Disney. Now if there's any new member or even someone who has been a few times but never tried one, this should be a mission on your next vacation. Now to all you professional cupcake lovers out there..Yoo Hoo..Are you reading this @HouCuseChickie ..What cupcake would you vote to be your number 1 choice..One that you would tell the first time traveller..You've got to try his before leaving the bubble.?..So please give your vote and tell us why this cupcake is your favourite ?;)

Been 47 Times never have i had a cup cake. And where do you find these red velvet cupcakes?

I just tried the Butterfinger cupcake for the first time and it was wonderful- I liked how the candy made a hard "helmet" on top of the frosting. That said, it took two people to eat it and I don't understand how people do cupcake crawls because the richness was just too much by the time I ate half. I would recommend this one.

Had a chance to try the Smores cupcake but missed out due to timing. Maybe next trip!

It breaks my heart to say it but...I really dislike WDW cupcakes. All of them:( (Don't stone me!)
I used to be a cake decorator and prepared more cupcakes than a human could consume in lifetimes, so maybe I'm picky but the cake is always that premixed generic cupcake flavor and the frostings taste so commerically mass produced that I usually skip them in favor of a more unique treat :(
They are really quite beautiful though. I think the pina colada one I saw not long ago was quite pretty.

I hate to blasphemy, but I (on 35 different trips) cannot recall ever having a cupcake at Disney World. I shall correct that grievous oversight on my upcoming Nov. trip.

The Butterfinger one at Starry Rolls! It was awesome! It was also my sister's favorite and she doesn't even like butterfingers! We had a week of cupcakes and they were all marvelous. Starring Rolls, The Boardwalk, Wilderness Lodge and Contemporary resort had the most unique flavors.
