First, to the person who gave me the point, I want to thank you for being honest and sharing your opinion about my comment. This is a democracy, and all viewpoints should be supported. Even those that you may not agree with.

Secondly, you obviously like eating horrible hot dogs so I hope you CHOKE on one.

Oh trust me. The last thing I do is care about how many points I have. I just thought it was HI-LARIOUS when I checked my pm box and saw this red dot. I actually thought it would be a negative point for some of the tigger trial posts I've done. So imagine my amusement when I clicked instead and saw it was for the hot dog comment. I think that's what really caught my attention. Not the negative point so much as for the reason it was given. I love this beloved country where people take their hot dogs very seriously!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!! :sohappy:

You can't compare amusement park food (especially counter service) to regular food. You are captive in there and you want a fast meal, you grab a bite from a counter service restaurant. They can do whatever they want to do with the food, you still have to eat and there is no food allowed in the parks. Sure you can go outside the parks, but it's such a hassle to get out. If they decide that their 99% profit off of coke is too low then they can change it in a wink of an eye.

And besides, Costco's hot dogs are the best non-grilled dogs on Earth.

I guess I just expect more from Disney because I was raised to believe that Disney does things a step above the rest. So I expect the best in everything that Disney does. But as I've grown older, I now realize that Disney is a corporation and will do whatever is best for profits. And when it can, sprinkle some Disney magic. Like you and I both agree, who'd have thought that you could get a great hot dog at Costco of all places?

and isnt a little depressing when you realize all the magic is just a way to make someone rich?? (though, i KNOW this is not what the intentions were in the begining!! its just the way things seem to be going lately)

Cosco's hot dogs are good? Gotta try one. I remember as a little kid getting hot dogs at "Bradley's" in New Jersey(kinda like a small version of Target store) To this day I still remember how good they were.emmm hot dogs-Jewish hot dogs are the best.
