I guess we're not "real" Disney fans. I didn't know watching YOUTUBE was a prerequisite. Not the faintest idea.

What a surprise. The sponsor of the pavilion, GM, who made sure that TT was re-themed again because Disney wouldn't do it on their own has an area to showcase their cars. Oh, the horror! What's next? Kraft offering products in The Land? Exxon promoting their company in The Universe of Energy? Siemens demonstrating technology in Spaceship Earth? Wait. That already happened, although not anymore because they're not sponsoring pavilions currently.![]()

Just as I feared. I was hoping for something memorable but all we got is equivalent to a car dealership disguised as a ride ending. At least the last iteration gave you a good reason to stick around after the ride is over. This one just convinces you to leave as quick as possible. Now this definitely reminds me of old school world of motion.![]()
If I'm not mistaken the futuristic car is in the queue in the front of the building. As for barriers, of course there are barriers in an exit area of an attraction which sees thousands of people every day. On the one hand, people are complaining that it looks too much like a dealership showroom. On the other hand, you're complaining that precisely because it isn't a dealership showroom, people can't get to the cars.Nothing wrong with displaying your wares. I even like sponsorships, for the reasons you allude to (and because they remind me of the good ol' days of RCA, GE, and Eastern Airlines).
The problem is the lack of imagination in the presentation. Looks like you can't even get even get to the vehicles, what with the metal barricades. And where is the futuristic car that they'll never actually produce but is still fun to look at?
lol this made me laugh. CleverOh no. Oh hell no. Its a sea of humanity. Watch it grow. Crowds overflow. Its sea of humanity. Yes the waits will be real long. You'll be waiting all day long. In the heat as kids cry. The wait is just for one ride. Here we go. Oh hell no. Its a sea of. Its sea of. Its sea of humanity. Humanity
My complaint has nothing to do with whether this is or isn't a showroom. It is, basically, that it doesn't look as fun as it once did. I could be wrong, but I remember walking right up to the vehicles in previous iterations. If I'm not mistaken the futuristic car is in the queue in the front of the building. Maybe they'll you go up to the car.
There didn't use to be any barriers. You used to be able to sit in any of the vehicles. If I'm not mistaken the futuristic car is in the queue in the front of the building. So glad the younger generations can experience EPCOT Center as it was meant to be. Like paying for the Ad-Free version and finding out they just put ads in the content- EPCOT was truly ahead of its time.
I ran into him too! He was about to watch Philharmagic, super great guy to have a chat about the parks with.Rode it today. A welcome upgrade!! Had a premier pass and we were the very first to use the lightning lane ride today! And also, I ran into this awesome dude... Should have known he would be here today!! If you're a real Disney fan, you know who he is.

They want people to have the authentic GM experience. I appreciate the effort for the added realism. The ride has gone down several times today, it’s honestly not seeming like the most reliable
