Personally I liked the dinosaurs in UoE. I really liked the ride system.
Just alone the way the seats moved and seeing the other people to the side passing you first or you passing them is what made this attraction so unique. I do prefer the tame version than the loud original. The Dinosaur scene with this ride is what I think about when seeing Beverly Hills Cop 3 during the Arctic ride at Wonder World!🙂

Personally I liked the dinosaurs in UoE. I really liked the ride system. I wish they just reskinned that attraction instead of making it Guardians. They could have focused on the possibilities of the future of energy.

I understand why they went to Guardians. its the ongoing effort to IP everything in all parks.

UoE was sponsored by Exxon

Modern life would have been impossible, and is not possible today, without fossil fuels; oil, gas and plastic.
I was astounded when that theater morphed into a ride system the first time I rode it.
I had no idea that was going to happen.
That was the same trip (around 1991) when I rode Tower of Terror for the first time.
Similarly shocked when our elevator exited the doors and moved forward.
I had no idea that was going to happen either.
I'm still impressed by that maneuver every time I ride ToT.
Oh... and my girlfriend at the time, and I made video reservations for dinner at Epcot.
That was cutting edge too.

We have fond memories of making the super futuristic video reservations for the SAME day!!!!!!

Don’t worry. They still have one dinosaur driving LucasFilm into the ground.

That was the coolest thing.....Groundbreaking for the time.... another bit of EPCOT coolness lost as the world caught up. Think of how much less time it took to do this VS what we spend now trying to navigate the Ap and ultimately have to speak to a live person...that is usually able to get you into reservations the App will not.

ToT opened in 1994. Just sayin'.
