Teppan Edo and Sanaa

We haven't eaten at Sanaa but ate at Teppan Edo years ago. I've heard excellent things about Sanaa and what stops us from going to Edo is that we have an awesome hibachi place near us at home that we frequent. No point in going at WDW. Try Sanaa!!!
Have a great trip. Wow 21 days!!

I agree with the one who said that Teppan Edo is a "take it or leave it" kind of restaurant. I've eaten there twice (the second time giving it a second chance) and my consistent feeling is that our local Japanese steakhouse where I live has better food. A good substitute for Teppan Edo would be the Nine Dragons restaurant over in China. Excellent food.

Nine Dragons is underrated. We were expecting nothing and it was excellent.

It's been mentioned before, but if you're into Japanese culture get to TE early for the opening welcome. I love it.

I found Teppan Edo to be a notch BELOW some of our local places. I found their hibachi food to be middle of the road. Their sushi was downright horrible. It is pre-made and pre-packaged, seriously, it is not made when you order it. the "show" was lackluster, and at times downright strange (The chef made a Mickey head out of onion rings, then sliced it up, and said "oh no, Mickey died, don't cry, don't cry").

About the only thing that was not an issue was the lack of fried rice (which seems to have changed now). I sometimes order white rice, somtimes fried, it depends what mood I am in.
