Funny...I remember this thread from 2012...and was reminded that I never made my list. What's sad...there are still some things that would have been on the 2012 list that would also make my current list. Since the next trip should be kid free, I can eat without worrying about anyone's food allergies...so that should help. Still, since it's supposed to be a F&W trip...I don't really think I should be making a list until F&W menus come out.

Yeah, still working on my list. It was at 30 or so, but luckliy I was able to cross out 6 things when I was there a few weeks ago ( grapefruit beer, grapefruit cake, cobb salad, buttermilk shrimp, pizza and sangria from Via Napoli)

Yah that buttermilk shrimp looked awesome, it is now on my 2014 list.

3) Fried Chicken- Port Orleans French Quarter
4) Creme Brulee (my favorite is at Kona Cafe)
5) Filet Mignon with Truffle Butter Sauce (if it's offered this year) - Food and Wine Canada
6) Cheddar Cheese Soup- Food and Wine Canada
7) The Pineapple Soda in what used to be Ice Station Cool
8) Charred Strip Steak with Mac n Cheese- Mama Melrose
9) PB&J Shake at 50's Prime Time Cafe
10) Bread Pudding at Raglan Road
Ordinarily there would be alcoholic beverages among these choices, but since I also have a countdown to the end of chemo and it doesn't come until after Food and Wine, we will have to wait until next year. Until then... bring on all the good food!

Our honeymoon was 1 1/2 years after our wedding... here are pictures of basically the same spot in 1993 when it was Dixie Landings and 2014.

My list is new things and my favorite things!
1. Cronut! - never had it but it looks heavenly!
2. Carrot Cake Cookie at DHS- also never had!
3. Crepes from the cart in France- chocolate or strawberry are my fave!
4. Mickey Waffles- every morning, they are my absolute favorite!
5. Cream Cheese filled wontons on skewers from Yak & Yeti- this will be a first!
6. Fruit and Nutella waffle from Sleep Hollow- new and looks awesome!
7. Strawberry Shortcake from Sunshine Seasons- my #1 must have every trip! The BEST!
8. Strawberry or Lemon cupcake from BOG lunch! - new and can't wait! Kind of leaning toward the lemon
9. Vanilla-laced French Toast from GFC- we have an adr for the first time and can't wait!
10. Rice Cream from Kringla Bakery - YUM!!!!!!
