I'm surprised at the lack of love for Big Thunder and MuppetVision.

That being said:
1 Big Thunder
2 TTA
3 Space Mountain
4 Splash
5 SSE
6 Mexico
7 Kilimanjaro
8 Norway
9 Dinosaur
10 MuppetVision

In no particular order.

I'm curious. I've wanted to ask this question for a very long time, but why do so many people love Pirates?

I mean it's a decent ride, but when it comes to the MK classics, it's very, very far down on my list.

All the responses are really fun to look at... Seeing how each person spreads the love over the 4 parks and such. At a glance, it looks like MK is in first and DHS is in second!

Kilimanjaro Safaris
Philarmagic

Star Tours
Muppet Vision 3D

*If this doesn't count because it's down and/or I don't like the refurb, then replace it with Tom Sawyer's Island. If that doesn't count, replace it with the Great Movie Ride.

This is tough. Attractions like the TTA, Maharaja Jungle Trek, Swiss Family Treehouse or World Showcase in general, which I consider important to a day in the parks, would be hard to leave out. The little stuff is what makes Disney great, so focusing purely on fun attractions misses so much of the fun.

I like it because of the awesome music, the immersive, detailed and beautiful scenes, because of the massive dose of nostalgia and because I love boat rides that don't feature weird Mexican travelouges. That's just the reasons that first come to mind.

That said, riding Disneyland's makes it hard for me to appretiate ours. It's still fun for me and I do it regularly, but the two don't compare at all and it just miffs me when I see how Disney could have obviously done better and didn't.
