Dont hold your breath for to long Evan.

Yeah I too get the feeling Disney and Siemens both have no intention of doing anything more, however those overhead sheets are def new, but Im thinking its just a cover up, great more black sheets just what we need. :brick: But there is def trash laying everywhere on the chicken wire right before the vehicles turn, and that is inexcusable.

If your professors are like most, they could stand some occasional correcting.
I`m no professor, but I agree :D

Siemens do, when they can afford it. Disney are leaving it to them and spending elsewhere. Paint, LEDs, floors and the like.

Well that makes me happy then, I mean sounds like at least Siemens cares and is interested. Maybe the new sheets are a postive sign.

I'll go ahead and confirm that the white wavy lines have been there for a long time. During the Winter I was riding the ride about once a week (it was very painful) to see if the descent was finished , and it was there every time.

The last few times I've been to Epcot, I've neglected to go on SSE, and I've discovered that my entire time in the park is more enjoyable. Figures that something would change and I've missed it.

I took a picture of the "trash" I was talking about on my phone, but I am not sure how to get it here...

I figured out how to put it on facebook, so maybe I can pull it off of there?

EDIT: I figured it out...

VT Gal did you think the trash was worse this time? It seemed to me like there was even more of it the other day.

Wow...This is interesting. I wonder if they are really starting up with work now that the new Fiscal Year has started for WDW.

REALLY, REALLY hope so. It would be great if they could finally finish SSE.:D

…In time for December...:lookaroun:D
You'll probably be saying that to your grandson someday EE.

The green matrix overspill has been there since at least summer last year.

The new white spill only appeared last week - looking at the shadows cast by the Omnimover it appears to be a single work light underneath the ride track.

Both are poor show.

Most of the descent is poor show. I'm only 16, but I've been going to the parks since I was 2, and I don't think I've ever seen an attraction in a Disney park look so bad. It really is an embarassment to Epcot. I hope they get the ride done soon...

As Martin and others have said on and offline, they are looking at it.
