Well, those of us with younger kids who we are trying to get to calm down and go to sleep in the room.. being able to dial up their favorite whatever on Netflix would be awesome. We also usually plan one "laze around the resort" day, and a lot of TV gets watched at that point.. there's usually someone in the room while others are out swimming or whatever.
Fascinating. I don't think I've ever turned my TV on in 100+ nights in a Disney resort.

EDIT: On second thought, I think I was there during the AFC Championship last year. But that was the only time.

Or they could just do what they do on the DCL ships, have a slew of on-demand options on your in-room TVs.

FWIW, I'm not a fan of Disney pushing more and more things on to small handheld computers doubling as communication devices.

I agree with you. I was saying I would like the Disney app to be able to handle the new transportation options (the Minnie Vans) rather than having to get a secondary app.

The cruise has what is essentially an on-demand for almost every Disney film ever made. I've never personally watched a movie on it, but it's a nice perk to have. What happens if you get sick, or if there's a tropical storm, and you really just want to watch a movie, or a tv show?

Yeah, I got one too. One of the questions I found interesting was asking how likely I would be to reserve a spot on a bus when leaving a park.
That sounds frightening. Now they want people to stress about bus reservations, too? How far in advance do they look likely to to allow booking? Start out with same day, then a week, a month, six months....... Hope they plan on adding more buses to the fleet if this becomes a reality.

In the UK we have a service called 'DisneyLife', which is essentially a collection of:

- 400+ classic and newer Disney movies
- 4000+ Disney TV episodes from box sets, plus live TV from Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior
- Stories from our 250+ book collection
- 6000+ Disney music tracks

Surprised there's not a similar service in the US, or available for free to guests at a WDW Resort.

No
All this talk about new technology and upgrades to the app are great and all, but seriously... how long do we need to wait until we can see bus schedules on the app (or at least on the in room TV channel!)?

FWIW, that was also an inquiry on the survey.

And if I know exactly what it means? Being around kids all day can be tough.

Trying to word this correctly but without going too far so the old fussies around here don't get upset.

Because you wouldn't be at WDW with your 'netflix and chill' partner(s). 'Netflix and chill' basically means 'no strings attached' etc.

Do you mean arrival times? Because the schedules are always the same:

To a theme park: Service begins 45 minutes before open and ends 1 hour before close.
To Disney Springs: Service begins 45 minutes before open and ends at 1 am.
From a theme park: Service ends 2 hours after park close
From Disney Springs: Service ends at 2 am

The problem with arrival times is the resorts with multiple stops are a lot more complicated than just putting GPS on the buses and mapping it. If a bus arrives to POR at 10:00, it might take another 10 minutes to get to the last stop inside the resort.
