What about a Video Game pavilion?

Starts out as the Interactive Electronics Pavilion sponsored by Atari in '82, eventually they lose the sponsorship sometimes between '87-'91 and Sega takes over as sponsor. Then the whole thing rapidly decays once Disney Interactive takes it over 2003 until this universe's version of the PLAY Pavilion is announced at D23 2019

EON Productions and Universal gladly lent us the franchise for saving their 100th Anniversary Celebration. As such, James Bond now makes periodic appearances at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

For something that could evolve over time - video games is for sure a subject that could work

In a way we could redesign a Seas pavilion to be more about the ocean at large, leaving room for a potential 20K 'move' in the 90s from Magic Kingdom to Epcot, and then the inevitable Finding Nemo overlay later on.

A music pavilion could also turn out really neat.

Going back to the video game pavilion idea, a trip through a video game console/ home computercould be interesting

We could always do Space. While it’s covered now, there wasn’t a space pavilion opening day (there were many designs for one).

We would just have to adjust reality and change what mission space is now.

Performing arts, in general, would make an interesting pavilion. If done well, it could be the sister pavilion to Imagination.

Yeah, it was in Communicore/Innoventions! Wasn't that big though and mostly just a glorified trade show booth which of course we'd expand further past that with a full pavilion.

Also, slight segue: why wasn’t the Carousel of Progress ever considered for EPCOT? I mean its successor Horizons was right there, and CoP’s legacy and connection to Walt could’ve saved it from becoming Mission: Space...
