No
The sheer contempt you three feel for this prompt is what lets me sleep soundly at night

Hey, boys. We gotta get moving on this bad boy if we're going to make it the pinnacle of armchair imagineering that it so rightly deserves to be.

As it stands right now, I'm thinking we keep the park set solely in London. Hub is The Egyptian, other than that I have no idea, but I like the ideas one of you presented yesterday (Thames/ Main Street/ etc.) Aside from that, how weird do we want to get with this? Do we want this to actually have rides? We could always make this a micropark that is primarily shows and personalized experiences. I know that there was talk of making this indoors (or partially indoors) as well.

To be honest, the more I think about this, the more I think it makes sense indoors.. I think we have rides, but not the normal theme park amount, because, let’s be honest, if you’re going to a Cats theme park, you probably have issues... I was going somewhere with that, but I can’t remember now, so I’ll leave it at that

So I was telling my brother about this project, and he suggested making the entire floor of the park made out of trap doors so that at any time, Macavity can show up and make you disappear. Honestly it’s better than some of the ideas I’ve had for this

That’s the tough part haha... what’d you think about the Chinatown and Theater District suggestions, in addition to what Outbound suggested earlier?
Does Chinatown show up in the film? Theater District might be redundant if we're doing The Egyptian. Might be more worth it just to fold it into the area with The Egyptian.

It doesn’t, I’m just trying to think of any ways to expand it a little bit... my favorite idea of Outbound’s for expanding was some sort of British monument like Big Ben

Do you have any ideas for Chinatown? It's definitely interesting, I just worry about relevancy.

British monuments is a great idea. If we want to keep within used settings, the film ends at Trafalgar Square. Definitely something we could look into. Big Ben would be interesting as well.

Not particularly haha... just trying to tie in more London type places that could have some cat connection... not really sure what else there is, and I don't know if there's enough in the movie for a full park unless we're doing an entertainment driven, smaller park

I'm thinking that would be the best bet. I've made a map compiling all our ideas so far.

So you enter with a direct sightline of the Egyptian. From there, you can head left to the Docks or right to the Railways, and in between both are many houses/setpieces from the movie. In the far back things distance themselves from the movies, with Chinatown, Big Ben, and an urban park (there's no greenery in the movie) able to explore.

Love it. I think that this is a great layout for the park. I'm about to head to bed, but I'll try to think of some specifics tomorrow.

This looks great! I'm thinking we sort of split up lands and work on them for as long as it takes and then combine it into something cohesive?
