The Indoor Water Park area is your field so I think we are good on the rough outline for everything here...will add more as we go but for now I think I'll move onto Dorney

Oh Lake Country -- we'll add in some descriptions for that , but on the second edits...it isn't the main part of the project. it's just ambiance and theme adjustments. As well as the parking deck which I can find parameters for the Disney Springs parking deck so we have similar realistic dimensions.

Intro/Backstory
Dorney Park has roots that date back to 1800s, beginning as a small picnic and garden setting before branching into an amusement park and slowly throughout the 20th Century becoming a fully-fledged 200 acre amusement and water park facility. Yet with the transitions to modern day, Dorney Park in our opinion has lost its old-fashioned 'park' setting that would be able to set it as a 'timepiece' rather than something trying to copy popular parks in the region such as Six Flags Great Adventure or Hershey Park to name a few. The charm and quaintness is what serves Disneyland well, and given its connections to highly populated areas of New York City and Philadelphia via train or bus, Dorney Park could be a weekend getaway that takes guests out of the real world and back to simpler Northeast US times. To turn-of the century Main Streets, Boardwalks, America's pastime - baseball, apple pies, picnics, nature, and family-friendly fun.

With the investment of $1 Billion over the course of 5 years to Dorney Park, the goal of the project is to revitalize the old-fashion genre, go 'older' rather than 'newer', more 'quaint' rather than 'larger' and evoke a sense of the 'good ol' days' put on display for generations to come.

With such an undertaking, internally - imagineers compared this to the Disney California Adventure upgrade from 2007 - 2012, as it's accomplishing the same thing - keep what works and place-make other aspects to help blend more cohesively and give the park a better entrance, and overall identity.

This is huge haha -- will have to crop it down a bit but I found an app called Canva -- it allows me to make pretty quickly some old fashion style theme park posters - will definitely make a few more for Dorney, possibly with a classic coaster or baseball theme.

Good news

Was able to download an actual Dorney Park and begin to add our attractions to it - such as The Wind Up Intamin/RMC collaborative wooden roller coaster replacing Talon on the right side by the ballpark entrance
Screenshot%2B%252880%2529.png

Talon on the left to be replaced

Also good news - I can screen capture a walk-through of the park (tbd though once everything is added/completed)

Also good news - the screen capture records video, slightly bad news...due to the size of the park itself....the coaster recording lags.

Honestly -- a small price though for trying new things with low computer technology skills lol

Talon on the right -- the yellow thing that's been there since 2001, with the ballpark entrance a wooden coaster akin to El Toro would be much better -- brings the thrills but also looks old fashioned. And according to the stats on PC -- it's 180 feet tall...another 'peak' for Dorney, and could possibly be the icon of sorts, aside from the classic Carousel.

Spent the last 30 minutes trying to design an animated tree in Blender. Basically one that sways in the wind. Why? Because why not -- try something different.

Unfortunately it's a pain in the rear and will take more than a few days and tutorials to learn the nuances of...will come back to this if there is time on Sunday or something. For now back to the Dorney write-ups.

vs our 'Disney's Dorney Park

Screenshot%2B%252892%2529.png

The baseball entrance will have to be our artwork -- I can even chip in a hand-drawn interior to make sure we describe it decent enough.

We have from left to right
Solomon Circus Land (named after Solomon Dorney) transitions to the Paradise Point (working name, tbd) Boardwalk section - Steel Force converted into a California Screamin' type coaster and the lagoon expanded for the boardwalk style midway areas, flat rides, and a greater tie in with classic themes of Dorney Park.

Then we enter the backwoods and wilderness section, themed after national parks and such of the east coast. (Name TBD) This is where we have our tie in through the new S.E.A. style continuous story through all Cedar Fair parks...

Not actually S.E.A. -- just a connective story throughout the parks/resorts like S.E.A. -- and this is the connection to the Wyandott Lodge...with the Peterson Railroad...board a train on a route to mine one of the mountain ranges when chaos ensures (1 of our 2 main attractions) Tentative name of attraction Smokey Mountain Railroad

Then we have Easton Fields...which transitions from the backwoods into the ballfields...featuring the park's signature wooden coaster 'The Wind-Up' with the queue going in detail about the history of baseball and America's Pastime.

This transitions into the Dorney Park Arboretum in the bottom right corner near the entrance...a walk-through garden inspired by its roots and the fact that Arbotetums are very popular in Pennsylvania (ie Longwood Gardens)

Then if we have time...the Little League World Series Stadium for special events and possible hotel accomodations (though that may been to be 'Phase 2' past the $1 Billion budget.

@MonorailRed I'm so happy with how this turned out!

Will do the ride-through of the SM Railroad tomorrow -- as well as a virtual walk-through of the park, that would be fun as an 'intro video' if you could make logos for the attractions?

Screenshot%2B%252893%2529.png

That view of The Wind-Up really will become the park's signature icon I think...just the banked curve its an evolution of El Toro in Great Adventure really. :D
