Will hopefully be back tonight -- in the meantime -- Over Texas still needs some decent attractions...and after sleeping on it I have reservations about a baseball themed roller coaster - but still think the old time 'park' feel would work well as an entrance to Dorney. Similar to how Buena Vista Street really worked well in DCA

Also have a different layout in mind for the Cedar Point resort.

A north to south orientation instead of east to east....views of the lake and the park...along with the flume attraction going west to east into the park...and a water area on the south end into the water park

Like like Wyandott Lodge -- sounds interesting

If were looking for Ohio influence as well, we could have the landscape look similar to Indian Point Park in Lake County - it's in the Appalachian area, so it works well.

I'll work on a writeup for the Kiddie Area for Great adventure tonight.

I loved the baseball concept for Dorney! - But I get what you mean, we need something a little bit more "in your face" than that to compete with Hershey.

I'll work on some brainstorming today, walk around the parks a bit - hopefully grab some ideas.

I'll look into ideas for Over Georgia....it's the last park we need.

Also back to brainstorming what if we themed the area of Dorney with the Ferris wheel to America’s Centennial Exhibition of 1876?

It would relate because it was held nearby - it’d get school groups into educational series trips - and it’d get us into a “retro Epcot” type niche.

Think discovery bay meets retro Epcot. :bookworm:

I dig it. Being in PA -- a historical twist on it would be good -- that's why I kept thinking baseball I feel.
