Maybe, but let's keep our options open. Another question for @MANEATINGWREATH and @TheOriginalTiki , does the show have to be traditional and passive, or can it be active ala Poseidon's Fury? Reason is I thought of an idea for a "battle of the elements" with spirits and their minions (representing the elements) all fight for dominance, with the guests and a guide of an ancient temple tour. The guide dies and they keep killing each other, until one spirit (differs from time to time) is victorious, and attempts to kill us as a dying other spirit allows us to escape. So, @MANEATINGWREATH and @TheOriginalTiki , would this count as a house or show (if reusing Poseidon?).

I'll let Ebert give the thumbs up on this.

I'll concede on the show then. For the Frankenstein maze, why not make Brooksian updates to other universal monsters? Professor Fronkensteen invites Count Vladimir Drackoola, the Mommy, Man Wolf, and Person of the Opera for a party.

Yes
Maybe to keep with a bit of a toungue in cheek theme, it could be that, for his wedding anniversary, he invited some of his friends to celebrate, but then Frankie invited Tommie who invited Jill who invited Sal, who invited Jack, who invited a whole host of monsters and crazy creatures.

I personally feel like a combination of these two ideas could be really strong.

As far as my maze, I'll have to do some research lol.

I have never seen Dracula: Dead and Loving It, so I have no ideas on how to incorporate that into the thing, should we decide to do so.

I hate to push Chucky forward but he could work thematically in Toon Lagoon given his cartoony nature. A maze or scare zone, I would be fine with either. Could we work this into the overall theme of the event? ("War of the Elements")

The only thing that makes me inclined to say no to Chucky is that it's been done before in Halloween Horror Nights. And you did it last season, I believe ;)

For house placement, I vote that Yound Frankenstein should be in the soundstage accessed via Seuss. Put a modern horror IP in Carnage, an original or Classic in the Popeyes extended queue (Chucky?) and an original in Trike Encounter. With the elements house/show/overlay, in Poseidons, it balances the placement of offerings well.

Where in the Lost Continent could a scarezone go?
Definetly in the Sinbad Courtyard Area, and probably extend to the front of LC.
Can do. So what is incuded in a scare zone. I am guessing it is small scale.
Try to include at least one "centerpiece" which is done on a medium to large scale. Descriptions of the people lurking about. Probably a few smaller vignettes or a mini show (i.e. Small sacrifice)

It shall be done. For Hades!

Lets try to get individual assignments through with today, so we can get through Young Frankenstein together.

It sounds like (unless anyone objects) I am doing the elements show.
Marvel Zombies Zone- @JokersWild
Greek Mythology Zone- @kmbmw777
The other scare zone- TBD

House Based on Modern IP in Marvel-

Chucky in TL or JP in Trike- @Basketbuddy101

Also, what if we released codenames in the main thread for each aspect like the twitter account normally does? Already have one for mine, if we decide to do it.

What do you mean by codenames? Like my Hades-inspired project could be called "Sticks" because of the River Styx?

I'll go with "Groovy"

That sounds weird, but I swear to god there's a very good reason for it. I have kinda a weird idea for this that I really want to try.

so for scare zones, just make a general retheming of the are and include like a mini show and weird people walking about

Tartarus - A Takeover of the Lost Continent
@kmbmw777
Hell-of-Tartarus.jpg

Backstory
Hades welcomes all who enter his kingdom - normally. Tonight, he tasks the newly deceased with an unbeatable challenge. Enter Tartarus. Party with the demons. Leave Tartarus.

Seems easy, doesn't it? Well, it most certainly is not.

But why don't you find out for yourself

Ghosts
Walking around the town are extra people, dressed just like the average civilian would be. These are crew members of Universal's team, just like you, the guest.

Ghosts will sporadically be killed when walking around, and will die gruesome deaths (mostly loud).

The Feast
This should be the best part, right? The least scary. After all, who doesn't like a good meal?

Well, 10 ghosts a are "randomly" selected and seated at a darkly adorned table. The lord Tartarus himself welcomes them, and he speaks about the greatness of his domain.

After a solid minute of his speech, demons jump from behind the seats of the ghosts, and they bite the ghosts. Blood rushes down their necks, as they "die" right there at the table. The real guests, standing around the table, are in no doubt, appalled and terrified.

Mr. Tartarus
A well-dressed man, who walks around the party, asking guests how they enjoy it. He occasionally slips up and mentions how nice it would be to eat the guests.

He hosts the Feast.

The Lake
The Lake is dyed red in the nearby lake, to make it look like lava.

The Rocks
The nearby facade will have black and red projected onto it, to give hellish kind of feel.

The Old Man
An old man sits on the ground, begging guests for danakes (a coin used to pay Charon to cross the Styx). Obviously, no guests have this currency, and any US money that is given to him will be dropped on the floor as he yells "USELESS." He occasionally will shake a ghost, begging them for the money he needs.

A ghost will walk to him, and hand a coin. The old man smiles at the ghost, stands up, and tussles with the ghost. After a quick change, the old man throws a scarecrow, who resembles the ghost into the water (The guests don't know shhhh). The old man reveals himself to be Chaos, the oldest deity in greek mythology. The lake erupts in flames as he dives in. Mr. Tarturus shyly smiles, "The old pop has gone crazy." He declares that he will handle it later.
