Alright - completely unrelated to the movie is the presentation.

What if we made a separate thread called SYWTBAI S14.1
One of us (or someone like space, spew, mickeyfan, etc. could do it) pretended to be the host and announced the project, teams (half of us work on each project), and due date. Then the two teams would submit it in there. Then we could be like "Now guest judges Tiki and MEw would be reviewing the project."

Two different presentation styles. And really fun.

Confusing. Yeah.. so I'll give a fake example below

THREAD TITLE: SYWTBAI S14.1

Project One: You're Tearing Me Apart, kev!

Based on TheOrginalTiki's "Tommy's Planet" project from Season Twelve

It's finally time to get to perhaps the most anticipated project of the entire season. This project was based on a concept Tiki came up with during a Blue Sky Project in season twelve. It was a MEGA E Ticket attraction based on the beloved cult classic "The Room"...which was located on the moon. Something that's actually relevant to the narrative of Tommy Wisseau if you read The Disaster Artist. Anywho, this project is very simple. You must design two E - Ticket attractions, one for a Disney park, the other for a Universal park. Naturally, they must be based off of TERRIBLE, critically panned films from the respective companies. I absolutely cannot wait to see the results! Good luck to the final six, and congrats on making it this far. You're on the cusp of making it to the semi-finals, so play your heart out if you want to make it to the end-game :) This project is due Friday, April 21st.

The teams are:
Team Dog (Coach: @kmbmw777)
@Pionmycake
@Snoopy

Team Cat (Coach: @Basketbuddy101)
@DisneyManOne
@Magic Feather

@Snoopy has opened the key to Walt's vault and found that Team Dog must base their attraction in Disney, while Team Cat must base their attraction in Universal!

Team Dog Submission: Disney Ride

Team Cat Submission: Uni Ride

I now turn it over to guest judges @TheOriginalTiki and @MANEATINGWREATH [link to main thread]

The reason I am suggesting this style is because it gives a relationship between the two projects.

The Great Gatsby is actually one of my top 5 all time movies and I had no idea it had a luke warm reception lol. It could work amazingly as an attraction. A test track style ride system racing through lavish set pieces in Gatsby's yellow car.

Pixels could also work great. I would worry we'd turn it just into a cool retro game ride rather than a ride based on a bad movie.

Bedtime Stories could have a lot of possibilities.

Could we do Disney channel movies? Some good options there.

Planes has a ridiculously low rotten tomatoes and could make for a great family coaster or simulator or other type of ride.

Man, did I miss a bunch while away with family. Anyways, think Bedtime Stories has lots of potential, but as a gutsiest redo. Instead of tower, we could replace the imagination Pavillion with a suspended dark ride.

For Uni, Pixels could be very interesting, as a type of Augmented Reality, maybe replacing Mummy.

I would vote After Earth for Uni. Pixels would be too easy to just make a retro gaming ride. After Earth gives us a while original world of dumb ideas to explore without even touching good franchises like PacMan and Donkey Kong.

I personally think we could find a worse movie than either Chicken Little or Bedtime Stories if we dug a bit. But Bedtime Stories is my vote from what we've duscussed. Great fit for the Imagination pavilion too.
