It certainly isn’t. It’s a really unique round but I wish we had the whole week over this shortened length just because of how long it took everyone to settle on a theme haha.

But yeah, right now I think the goal should be individual holes, then course layout, then assigning things.

Are we going biomes, fossil record, my initial pitch, or something else?

I don’t know if it fits with a natural history museum feel focusing on nature more than actual history. I like the idea though, just not sure if it really fits.

I think it’s a great idea but depends what style we go for. If we go fossil record it probably won’t fit, but if we do biomes, technically urban is considered a biome

So I wonder if we should do like 9 biomes and one man-made wonder from each of those biomes? I don’t think we’ll come up with 18 biomes, so I’m trying to think of a way we can highlight it and not look too over- extended... think of it like 2 holes combined into one maybe?

That sounds nice, though it’s not necessary: the natural history museums jumps around regions. But I like adding a flow.

While we’re on that topic, do we want to brainstorm the rooms now? Some suggestions of mine:

• Peru Jungles and Machu Picchu
• Egypt Desert and Pyramids
• China and the Great Wall
• Tuscany and Ancient Rome
• Redwoods and Native American Longhouses
• Tundra and Eskimo Village
• Polynesia and Easter Island

Here are my suggestions for Holes 13-18. Please offer any feedback, its still WIP. Intentionally under detailed because this won't be shown to the judges. If you guys could do something to the similar scale as this, but with your own unique twists, that would fantastic.

HOLE 13: TUNDRA We step into the next room of the museum, and find ourselves in a large ice canyon. This is the Tundra. The hole that follows is a narrow one with many nooks and crannies, ideal for bouncing your golfball around the walls to gain continuous momentum. HOLE 14: ESKIMO VILLAGE Th...
