Tarzan Treehouse refurb?

anyone know whats going on with Tarzan? I was at DL yesterday and its all comvered with scaffolding and scrims. is it just a basic maintenance or something being changed?

They’re changing it to Tarzan 2. That’s why they moved the trash bins out front.

In before they announce changing it to Jane's Treehouse with a convoluted backstory of how Jane has opened up a jungle research station to study the effects of deforestation and climate change on the jungles of Adventureland.

It would be great if those fiberglass statues of the 'Tarzan' characters were replaced with moving figures.
That was the original plan, but the slim budget for the project didn't allow it.
Would be nice to see that added.

I can't even imagine how they're ruining this. Something that was already ruined in '99 compared to prime 1960s Disney when there was actual talent in the company will be absolutely destroyed by 2020s Dizney.

Now, in fairness for sake of discussion, I haven't heard any rumors of anything so my assumption is a general refurb for the treehouse. I think a lot of those are happening right now.

The park calendar has it re-opening October 29. Believe it’s just basic maintenance.

Oh no, someone has breathed in the vicinity of Tarzan's Treehouse again...man did this thread title bring back some PTSD.

Glad it's getting some maintenance, no one tell that other guy.

This is one of those attractions I would not mind if WDW bulldozed and closed for a "quick" three year renovation.
