that didn't happen often, but I had a weak back to start with. This just made it worse.

As I was the 2nd poster I took the Thread tittle... which is...

Tapestry of Nations/Dreams coming back?!
Some people take "/" to mean "and" while others take it to mean "or" while others take it as "and or". Why I just took the time to type that, I don't know. :)

I loved ToN and ToD but I cringed for the performers having to carry those huge puppets. They were both wonderful parades but I can certainly see why they wouldn't come back.

I meant and or... sorry for the confusion.

Boy I feel so guilty now for enjoying those parades as much as I did (Marionette was always my favorite too :o ).

Sorry about your back!

The last time I was at Epcot when the Tapestry of Dreams/Nations parade was present my fondest memory of the entire parade was my dad sprinting right in front of it to go get in line for a funnel cake. I could really care less about the return of the parade.

POST = WISH

The ToNations/Dreams parades have both left extremely fond memories for my family and I. As some have mentioned the rotating drummer was very cool, however the puppeteer CM's were fantastic. The magic these CM's demonstrated reaching out to a smiling kid to shake hands, etc... WOW!!!!

Thanks to all the CM's that endured the abuse (sorry you had to go through that), your efforts and pain, although not easily apparent to your audience, translated into a truly wonderful experience for many 0f us.

MKT.. I hope you continue to recover.. I also hope your memories are of more then just the pain you endured, hopefully theirs a good memory in there as well... I know it's of little consolation if you are really experiencing long term pain.. but Thank You!!!!

I sure hope they can bring something like this parade back.. It would be wonderful... Minus the CM abuse of course...

BTW: I am now onto my their copy of the CD from the Millennium parade.. I wear it out listening to the 26 minute "Wa Oh..." song... :-)

Thanks, but that is truly wishful thinking. The only other memories I have are chugging nasty yellow powerade between parades.

MKT -
In cleaning out a closet this weekend I found the "Commemorative program from Epcot 200. It has a few pictures from the parade - would you know if you're in that?

No thanks... while my back may hurt, you're not old enough to drink.

Not to mention, I haven't worked in a Disney park in well over 2 years, nor do I ever want to again.

How long did it take you to train for ToN?

I didn't do ToN, only ToD. It was 3 days (I remember that now!). First day was indoors doing the choreography, no puppets. Second day was choreography WITH puppets... since the weather was nasty, we did it inside of the World Showplace building instead of on the World Showcase promenade. Third day was on the parade route. We did about 6 or 7 runs and then we'd get approved or disapproved.
