Thanks to @brb1006 for reposting this, as this and the series of Tapestry parades were my favorite parades ever in the history of WDW. As far as ancient threads go, I am one.

Nations was better, but Dreams gets too much of a bad rap from people.

Also, why would you bump such an ancient thread?

I bought the Illuminations/Tapestry of Dreams CD primarly because of the music playing around Epcot after Illuminations ("Heyla" (sp?), etc.). I would like it better without the children/dreamseekers talking over the music.

The earlier Millennium Celebration and Illuminations/Tapestry of Nations releases had the instrumentals.

I feel like if it weren't for the children and they kept the tone of the post-Millennium "Dreams" version of Nations they had running a few months going forward with the Dreamseekers, ToD might have been a little more successful. I get why they thought the Sage of Time was too Millennium specific, but in writing Dreams, they aimed a little too kiddie.

A little too kiddie? That's TDO all over! ;)

I still listen to this all the time. I have a song on my iPod called "An Evening at Epcot" starts with the Preshow for Illuminations, then Illuminations, Promise and Tapesty.

I would purchase the exact track that is played after Illuminations. I love that music. Unfortunately, the only version available is the Illuminations/Tapestry of Dreams CD with the kiddie narration over it.
