I still think it needs to come back, now Epcot is even more boring!!!

How old are you? Honestly, I didn't start to appreciate Epcot much until I turned 20, and when that happened, I realized that sometimes it's just as fun to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy a Guiness (the beer you can chew) in the UK pavilion. 3 years ago I would've literally gone to Epcot, ridden Test Track 2 times, and left. Now with age I have gained a deeper appreciation for the meaning of Epcot (the park, not Walt's dream) and what it now is. Plus, Epcot survived 18 years without a parade, it was never intended to have one, and for most of Epcot's guests (I've read the guest letters, I've seen the survey results. You can say what you will, but I have hard facts to back me up), ToD was more of a detraction in world showcase than a reason for going. I personally left WS during ToD and went to Boardwalk for dinner, returning after for a drink and Illuminations.

Now you ask, what about ToN? ToN was well done from the start, was one of the most popular Disney parades of all time (ranked #3 I believe after the Main Street Electrical Parade and Spectromagic), but it needed to go after the Millenium Celebration. People can understand that if there is a celebration based out Epcot, that the park may be changed for a bit, but it will return to normal afterwards. Well it didn't happen. ToN stayed, which at that point, I was already sick of it,and the dissent was starting to show with guests, with it's numbers gradually decreasing. Then came ToD, which promised to be a NEW PARADE. Guess what.. it wasn't, and the numbers showed. The only times that parade held solid numbers with guests was it's opening day, July 4 (then again, Rio del Tiempo would also do well), New Years eve, and closing day (and mainly because some of the cast went to see it, and it's few fans all gathered simultaneously to see it).

I've said my peace, i've stayed civil. Now my request is simple. ToD isn't coming back, get over it and find something new to post about.

I'm done.
