Tangled Legacy

As a princess, Tiana sells more than Rapunzel.

From a marketing perspective, this is probably due to the fact that Tiana is distinct from the others in that she's the only black princess. Rapunzel, Aurora, Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, and Snow White are pretty much identical with different colored hair (and the fact that Rapunzel is computer animated).

The problem with an attraction is that the most natural home for this to go would be fantasyland, and that's part way through a make over, where would an attraction beyond a meet and greet actually fit/go ?

In the spot of Snow White's Scary Adventures. Then they can move the princess meet and greet over to the old Skyway station.

Regardless of the reasons, better merch sales means healthier future or 'legacy' in the parks.

I hope the meet and greet stays for awhile-want to meet her this summer!
I really liked Tanglled, but I thought the music could have been better.

Have tried to see Tangled Meet and Greet Last Oct when it 1st open but the line was just to long. Was hoping to see and get a close up this last February trip but still no luck! The line was to long and there are time schedule that if you miss one it will take a couple of hours again to see it. I am hoping it will still be there in June and will def'ly will make it a point to do rope drop and be able to get there early. They were just to cute and def'ly a scrapbook souvie!:)

Well something must be clicking with people that i am missing, as i consider myself a serious animation fan and Disney freak...but found little memorable about 'Tangled' when i finally saw it last week. It was very......'eh'......

I DID enjoy the artistic aspects ( backgrounds and background coloring exspecially) and the 'I See The Light' sequence with the entire lantern ceremony was very well done. That was the only high points for me....and i found this film to be nothing special.

The CGI could be turning me off...as i am not a huge fan of it. I actually had to laugh to myself when they ran the '50 Years of Animation' bit at the start of the movie, considering Disney of all companies did away with it's Animation Department for the most part....

Too bad the '50th' had to be CG.....but i digress.

I know others adored this flick, so i am probably in a minority. It is definately popular with girls as we sell a lot of Rapunzel costumes and wigs, but Tiana stuff is now peg-warming.
