"Tangled" in the parks

Then maybe my expectations are unrealistic , but it's pretty hard to surpass TPaTF.

I suppose, but I just didn't enjoy the mime part to be honest. I will admit, throwing a drunkard in there was funny!

I doubted Ratatouille as well, but then again I doubt almost every Pixar movie and am continually blown away (bar The Incredibles)

The Princess and thr Frog will probably surpass it in the future because it's beautiful stoywise and animation-wise but Tangled is right behind it. There's definitely a new renaissance going on, which I doubt anyone can deny. :sohappy:

And Cars 2... I can't get a good read on it. It almost looks like they're trying to do an action film? Idk. It may be Pixar's first flop.

I loved the film, just...the most unnatural dialogue I've ever seen. Like it was written by someone who had never met a teenager before.
Nah, it was just a movie made for hipsters, by people who probably knew hipsters. After they wrote the script for hipsters, they exaggerated it 10x to get the effect. Love the movie and most of the dialogue, but my friends and I joke about it all the time :ROFLOL:

I have yet to see TPatF(as said earlier), but I think this is a modern classic still. I agree with the user who compared this to Mulan(which needs a little more attention in the parks, I think). I am in the middle in this thought: Tangled should have been hand-drawn. I'm unsure on what i think on that. Hand-drawn or not? Beside that point, it's something fresh to the table, I guess. I absolutely adored the movie! The "hip-ness" that you are talking about--these "likes" are natural to Rapunzel's character! Hello, 17 year old(18 in the end) teenager! I thought it went well.

I don't want to think hand drawn will ever die and I don't think it will. However, it is very Disney-like to evolve their animation styles. And now that they FINALLY have a CGI that really works, I'm on board. As long as their is quality in what they're producing, I'll support the studio and whatever style it chooses to release.
