See, I'm a big fan of black and white, but with the frame being clear glass, I think it might need the color. I'm just not sure....

Exactly!! But in the colored one, the "J" and "O" really pop out at you.

I know what you mean, but in person the colored Y does show up OK too. I could print the Y from the first one in color too, but the background for that is nearly identical to the J (they were trees right next to each other), so I thought that might look odd.... :shrug:

Yeah that would look odd. What about the person you're giving it to? Think about what they have up on their walls...do they steer more towards color or black & white? Or a mish-mosh like us

Problem is, a lot of seniors don't come in in the summer. They want to wait, and wait, and wait, until the last minute (Where we are now.) And so not only do we have the retake problem, but also the getting those in that need to get their picture taken to begin with. It's a lot to deal with.

Totally understand what you are saying. Our district doesn't give you a choice. Picture assignments are made for the summer. You are given a day and a time frame (1.5 hrs I believe) to show up. If you don't show up then thats it, no yearbook picture. Retakes are scheduled by the photo company, not the school so there is no second chance.
