Well I suppose compared to the dead of winter it's not that bad. But compared to last week, yeah it is COOOOOLLLDDD!!
It probably doesn't help that I have refused to turn on our heater yet. I want to avoid the cost until the last possible second.

Thanks for filling us in on Corey, Betty. I just read the article and was so glad to hear that it was determined to be an accident, with no foul play suspected or alcohol use involved. The families are going through enough as it is without that kind of mess added on.

Hey Steph, well not yet, but I can see it bursting from the sky at any given moment. SO not excited about winter. I know it will put a damper on my motivation to lose weight as well. I am not going to want to travel to the gym when it is dark by 6 o clock.

Susan's (Disnut) son was injured in a car in an accident and her nephew did not survive. It was in the last thread and I just heard about it.

We had some rain last night and this morning, but it looks like the sun is trying to come out now. They say we may get some snow for Friday. I hope not because I have a Party for Sunday (Princess #2 is 13 on Thursday) and I'm counting on the kids being able to go outside and not come back in a mess. :lookaroun

Can I just say that this is not my favorite time of the year? Once the pretty leaves are gone (and that will be soon) I just get so cranky.
