Introduction
Greetings everyone! There's a lot to cover this week so tonight we'll get right into it, take a look at some of the highlights, as well as a very special announcement at the end!
Imagineering Competitions and Events
The Choice - The ending to Challenge 8 this past Monday has now set the stage for the Final Four. In the Final Challenge of the season, the finalists IDInstitute, RMichael21, DSquared, and Brer Panther have been individually paired up with coaches MonorailRed, Sam4D23, TheOriginalTiki, and englanddg respectively, to design a plan for WestCOT. Set in 1992, the armchair imagineers have to devise a new, unique plan to bring WestCOT to the Disneyland Resort. Look for the results and announcement of the winner next Wednesday night (November 25th)
ICS Tournament II - It's only 11 days away! Get ready for the year-end imagineering event that pits the top 8 imagineers of the season against each other in a March Madness bracket-style competition to see who comes out as the overall wdwmagic Imagineer champion!

The SoYouWantToBeAnImagineer YouTube channel - the official wdwmagic hub for all imagineering competition recap podcasts. It's a truly fantastic channel and tons of contributions from people all around the forums. Just recently TheOriginalTiki and myself did a podcast recapping the best moments of The Choice, reviewing the final four contestants throughout the season, and their chances to win. Was very fun to be a guest on the podcast and in the coming weeks I'm sure there will be a lot more wdwmagic Imagineering podcasts to look forward to!

On The Horizons
This was the exciting announcement I was talking about before. After discussing it in Town Hall a few weeks ago, it's with great honor that I'd like to announce the return and first official start of:
ICS Weekends
For anyone new to the idea, ICS Weekends will be a variety of events, activities, and interactive challenges that will add a whole other level to the forums. Originally this idea was supposed to start last summer, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it had a tough time getting off the ground. But now it's back...and back to stay!
Over the next few weekends leading into 2016 (and beyond) look for these four exciting events to take place!
Disney Debates
Created by @DSquared
Based on the hit Screen Junkies show "Movie Fights" on YouTube, forum members will be asked several Disney theme park questions to poll their opinions. Questions like:
Which Haunted Mansion is better, Disneyland or Walt Disney World? Contestants must then argue for which they think is better, and for each question, the winner will be determined by who has the best argument for their attraction. It will be a fun-filled community-wide event different than anything else we do on the forum, but still revolving around Disney and Imagineering at its core.
The League of Dreamers
The first official ICS Weekends event competition just started tonight! Initiated by @DisneyManOne the event will have challenges due on the weekends as armchair imagineers work together to complete the projects! Click on the link above to see more!
The Shark Tank
Over the next few weekends, a concept designed by MonorailRed, Voxel, Zweiland, englanddg, and IDInstitute will make its way onto the forum. Planned as part of the original ICS Weekends idea, the same spirit will be seen again very soon! For more info, here's the original description from 2014:
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Imagineers of all ages, how would you like to pitch your ideas to some of the most talented ideas to ever populate these forums? Sound like fun? Not so fast, because while these Disney Dynamos have the power to invest some points and support you or your group's idea, their backing comes at a price. Is it one you're willing to pay? Are you okay with relinquishing some of your own creative influence to ensure that your concept moves on to the next round? If this sounds like your kind of challenge, then get ready, because the WDWMagic Imagineer Forum will be plunging into the "Shark Tank" later this summer.
P.S. While fish may be friends, these sharks are not."
Whose Park Is It Anyway?
Originally designed by @jdmdisney99, in the coming weekends, members such as @IDInstitute will hopefully bring new life to this fantastic (and hilarious) weekend event...."Whose Park Is It Anyway?" Here's the description:
"Welcome to "Whose Park Is It Anyway?", the show where everything's made up and the points don't matter. Just like a comb to Colin Mochrie, it just doesn't matter. If you like random fun, this is the place for you to come. All of your favorite games from the hit TV show will be right here, but with a Disney Parks twist. Scenes From A Hat, Helping Hands, Irish Drinking Song, and more will engage everyone in a hilarious cavalcade of quick wit. With sudden, spur of the moment prompts, everyone can pop in with a crazy answer off the top of their head. Just don't go away because well be back soon with more "Whose Park Is It Anyway?"!"
And the best part about it is...if anyone wants to help out, or has an idea they wish to share for another event to help fill out all 52 weekends of 2016 and beyond, feel free to comment below with your ideas! It's great to have a variety, that way there will always be something fresh to enjoy on the weekends to bring the community together in fun and unique ways!

Um....yes please! I love these "game" type events that are more like the format of a game show than a competitive reality competition. Should draw in some people who are hesitant to sign up for events that require long term commitments. Also, I want to do freaking EVERYTHING in my power to make a live version of Disney Debates on my Youtube channel. Anyone at all who's interested in being a "Fighter" and coming on air, please contact me

That sounds great! I'd definitely talk to @DSquared about that. For our purposes, maybe it'd be nice to have a mix of live video versions and forum based debate versions...because if we just had videos that might limit the amount of available people. At least this way there can be offers for everyone on the forums and then the extra added bonus of some live versions on select weekendsUm....yes please! Oh yea, by all means have most of the stuff be done on the forums. I'm thinking of doing "Disney Debates Live!" as a little bonus content in the rare times were able to get three people besides myself in a hangout at the same time.

Can I be the Nick Mundy of Disney Debates and do all my rulings via video? I think that'd be a fun way to add an interactive element to it even when were not doing it as a full blown live show. All the arguments can still be made in text format on the boards.

To whoever it concerns,
Will the TAFI website be updated eventually, or has it been retired? I think it is a good idea and would be a great place to keep info easily available. The newest version of the website looks great, it just needs updated with new rankings, comp list, etc. I'm not sure who is in charge of that, but I would be glad to help keep it updated.

So just to clarify, I've gotten confirmation from everyone pretty much that they are in to compete
@JokersWild I know you mentioned you wanted to focus your time on LoD, but just offering it up once again. If Jokers or anyone else has a conflict then we should open it up now to others. DisneyPrincess has been quite busy as well and will probably not compete, which leaves it up to @Sam4D23 if he wished to take the final spot.
Also note for anyone who didn't make it in the eight...don't worry, there is something being planned so that everyone can join in the year-end fun!
