We are trying to decide on a table service for lunch in Hollywood Studios. We are wondering which one is better 50's Prime Time or Sci Fi or is there one that we are over looking?

I haven't eaten at the Sci-fi so I can't comment on the food, however, I did go there and left after 15minutes. After being seated I waited 15 minutes to order but the waitstaff never stopped at my table.

I have had good experiences at the 50's, I like the atmosphere and the chicken.

We usually do the 50's primetime cafe for dinner and the Scifi for lunch. I'm a touch claustrophobic, so that sitting in the scifi is really uncomfortable for me. The waitstaff for me is a big draw and we always wind up laughing at the goings on in 50's. Enjoy

We really like the 50's Prime Time. We have eaten twice at the Sci-fi and didn't find it good either time.

We always have the 50's on our list of must do's each time we are there.

There's a lot of negatives about Sci-Fi out there but we've always loved eating there. The atmosphere is what we enjoy so much. The food certainly isn't something to rave about but we've never found it bad either. Just average food but it's neat to eat at.

I think at DHS, it's more about the atmosphere. We really love the Sci fi. Love watching the old B Movie trailers. And getting to sit in a car is great, too. Last trip, we did 50's prime time, and weren't impressed. It was a one and done for us. Next trip, we plan on trying out Mama Melrose.

Question is do you have time to kill and do your taste buds care? If you have time to kill and taste buds not too discerning, we enjoy the environment at Sci Fi, but service and variety definitely lower than 50's. We spent more at 50's, the food was tastier, and the service was quicker. They seemed to want us to finish quickly so they could turn over the table to the next seating. Felt rushed at 50's and interaction with staff was varied.

We really enjoy the atmosphere at Sci-Fi but we've never ventured farther into the menu than the Bacon and mushroom cheeseburger and they do it well. Momma Melrose was one of our best meals on our trip last year! 50's is good but we've only ever had the fried chicken.

We have been going for a while now and 50s Prime Time is still our favorite at DHS. While I like the theme of SciFi, the food is lacking.

50s is the best food, overall experience. But, it's also a touch slow - and also very filling.

I would suggest Mama Melroses for a flatbread if you're looking for a quicker experience that isn't just fast-food.

I am a big fan of '50s Primetime because it's fun and the food is good especially the fried chicken. I also like the flavored sodas. I haven't been to Sci-Fi since the recent menu changes. As far as the food there, I have had very mixed experiences there, but I do think the atmosphere is really fun and different.

Mama Melrose's is a place that I really want to like, but my experiences there have not been great. I do think the penne vodka was fabulous though.

Sci if is pretty cool, but definetly the 50's prime time. The food is awesome and so is the atmosphere. If you choose 50's , definetly get a reservation, their usually always packed.
