Hi! This is the first issue time I will do regular updates on things on the parks. To start off, I saw PhilharMagic yesterday. It is albsolutely beautiful. The graphics are really nice. Like some other people said, it is totally imersive. Some of the scenes are really funny. But if you have middle aged teenagers, who don't like Disney characters, don't go to PhilharMagic. It's not a must-see, but definetly worth a look. I've been looking through and saw that they are going to have Mission: SPACE Race. Does any one have enlarged pictures of it? As for PhilharMagic, I saw where all the effects of water or scents are from. In between each seat, there is a like like a place with square stuff, like a steel grille. Went to DTD the other day, and I wanted to see how Earl of Sandwich was going, but didn't get to see that. As for everything else, this much is it. I post something else if I forgot to put in here.(Most probably)

Why cant we just get one thread going for updates instead of many going with practically the same thing?

End of Complaint

Mission: SPACE Race is already open. What you meant was Mission: SPACE Race online. Its set to open late 03-early 04 and you can play practically the same game as MSR online with people all over the world, youll also be able to play it at home online.

From what I've seen, I cant really say much, other than they have a very good and very sucessful idea going if they play it right.

Why even bother waisting your key strokes when people will just turn on you and have a flame fest... I speak from experience  :lookaroun

No offence to t3techcom18 or you X2CommNavISTC. :)

t3techcom, thanks for the update. I really enjoy reading everyone's updates, so keep them coming.

I'm glad you like Philharmagic, it seems like Disney will have opened three great new attractions by October (including Wishes, MP, and MS)!

Qustion. and this is really urking me right now.

Why does everyone continue to say MS opens in oct? Really, seriously, why do they say it.

The official opening was in August on the 15th:cry: why it is so hard to understand.

Trust me DMC, I know what you mean, Ive never had it done to me, but it sure would save some space on the boards if an official topic for these types of threads were started.

Am I the only one that hates the idea of just keeping one thread going. You come back to it and its at page 32. I personally enjoy having a new thread each time. It's just me. So t3techcom thanks for the update.

I don't post here a lot, but I DO stop in for updates and news, since so many of you are fortunate enough to visit often. I, personally, like individual threads too, when they're dated. It's easier to see immediately what I have and have not read. Just my two cents, but either way - thanks for the news!!

Because, despite the fact that MS has actually been open since June and then officially "soft-opened" on a day to day, 9-9 schedule on August 15th, it hasn't actually "officially opened" to the world. By the world, I mean the media. Disney themselves have called October the "official grand opening". In fact, Epcot is closing at 3pm on October 9th for its grand opening. Don't sweat it, everything's cool ;) :D

Anyway, this isn't what I was thinking about in my post above. I just meant that BY October, three new great attractions would be open, including the technically-already-open MS. :)

The press release states that the "Official Grand Opening" is in October, but everyone knows the soft opening was on 8-15.

Because it's intended to be in NEWS + Rumors(No offense, X2)

I have the answer that, and I forgot to mention about it in my update. A friend of my dad's is here and the good news is that he works for HP. He tried to see if we can get VIP passes for MS, but the passes doesn't start until October. This is where the question is anwsered: He said that the ceo from HP and Michael Eisner will be there, and he said there will be lots of tings going on(Explaining why the park closes at 3 Oct. 9)

I forgot to mention some other stuff. When we went to see PhilharMagic, when you get the 3D glasses, there is a black curtain behind it. Well, my mom went to get her glasses, and all of a sudden, a CM's hands came out to scare her. She said,"Don't they know I don't like those stuff???" The CM after was laughing after she said that. I also saw some of the teachers I have at school, the Pre-K teacher and the 5thgrade teacher. I also heard my Lit teacher was going to be there, but I didn't see her. Anyway, I have invented a great thing. I call it the Mission: SPACE Experience. Here are the technical aspects you need:

Windows Media Player
WMP Plug-In: DFX Audio Enhancement(Sharware)
WMP Plug-In: CSII Decoder Version 1.3(Shareware)
(You can download these at Download Plug-Ins Button)
Hi-Definition Headphones

Here are the steps:
1) Download those plug-ins
2) Set CSII Pulg-In to 5.1
(I use DisneyForever.com Mission: SPACE Videos)
3) Avtivate both plug-ins
4) Set CSII to Cinema; TruBass to 5; Clarity to full
5) Set Speaker Setup to 5.1( Put it to this even if you don't have 5 speakers)
6) Turn off DFX in Preshow
7) Turn on DFX again on ride video and second preshow
8) Enjoy!! User Hint: If you are using CSII Trial, to prevent it from turning it on and off all the time, play some of Windows Media's videos controls.
I forgot some things-
9) Set video settings in Windows Media's contrast to 15;
Hue to-6 et saturation to 36 and voila! You have your own Mission Space Experience!

no you're not the only one...i like having individual ones cuz then like you said i have to be searching around page 17 to see where is the last one i read  and plus people by page 10 get off on tangents and start talking about other stuff so that messes up the whole idea of the actual updates!

Just a pointer... when you come back to the board (assuming you're logged in) you can click on the downward pointing arrow on a thread to go to the post immediately after the last one you read. This will save you the hassle of searching around. Of course, if there are no new posts, there is no arrow ;).

I actually never knew that! Thanks, this helps me out a lot!
