T-Rex for just drinks or dessert?

My youngest son LOVES dinosaurs...the T-Rex was being built during our last visit in 2008, so we have never eaten there.
I have heard mixed reviews about it.
We will be on the DDP on our upcoming Nov trip & I understand that the T-Rex is not on the plan.
So, I was wondering if it would be worth it to stop by for a drink or dessert just so he can experience the atmosphere?

We did exactly that. Actually we were so pleased with the decor that we ended up getting an appetizer too. Anyway, we definitely felt like it was worth it. We got the chocolate extinction for 4 of us and still couldn't finish it! Have fun!

I would definitely go for it! The food is noticably better than other themed restaurants, like Rainforest Cafe. Even if you don't decide to eat dinner, you gotta experience it.

We did that a couple of weeks ago. We grabbed 4 seats at the bar and got 2 orders of meteor bites and drinks. It was well worth it.

I have to agree. In comparison to the other Landry's "themed" places, TRex was a pleasant surprise. Not great food, but solid.
