Is there a sword in the stone at Disney World??? I want to get a picture of me trying to take the sword out.

Yes, it is right in front of the carasol behind the castle. They use to have a daily thing to see who could remove the stone, im not sure if they do it anymore though.:shrug:

I was walking by once when this group of small children were taking turns pulling on the sword. This one girl yanked on it and it actually came loose and she pulled it out! The other kids were so jealous and immediately pushed her out of the way to try it themselves. I can just see someone backstage hitting the release button randomly to freak little kids out.

When we were there in May they had CM's standing by and whoever was able to pull the sword out got a dream fast pass. They've got it rigged somehow so it can only pulled out randomly. We missed out.

Actually, they were declared "Temporary Ruler of the Realm" :king: (basically covering for King Arthur while he was away). Alas, every time they pick someone the King abruptly returns ending making each reign about 5 minutes. :brick:

Apparently a small 9 year old child requested that the Wand be removed during her temporary "reign over the realm", since the little girl got her request in during that 5 minute time slot before Arthur returned...Upper Management was forced to carry out her orders....Well thats the word on the street.
