The media needs to stop going ape over things like this because then one day there will be something serious and people will ignore it. If this was called h1n1 flu from the beginning nobody would care but they called it "Swine Flu" and everybody panics.

The REGULAR flu kills 30,000 - 40,000 Americans yearly mostly elderly, very young or other immunocompromised people. We don't freak out during flu season every year. This flu appears to just be another strain of flu. It's not any more deadly.

Then the media starts talking about a "Pandemic" which is another scare word. All it means is a communicable disease that spreads around a large geographic area.
