swimming pools

Going to Disney december 17th. I know the temp will be in the low 70's there. I'm wondering if the pools are heated and if it will be warm enough to go swimming. I am staying at Port Orleans riverside and I have heard the pool is awesome!

I believe all of the pools are heated. Just be sure to bring something warm to cover up in as soon as you get out of the water. If you go in the afternoon on a sunny day, you'll probably be fine. Heck, I've gone swimming on ski trips and survived. :lol:

Have been to WDW many times during this part of the year, and the pools are almost always busy. The only times that I haven't seen them busy was when temps were pretty chilly- 40's and lower. The pools are heated- on the cool mornings you'll be able to see the steam coming off the water... makes for a neat looking effect!

The Mom is correct, the pools are heated. I've gone swimming at POR in Dec. and it was fine. Actually it felt like bathwater.....

Ya swimming in Decemeber is fiiiiiiiiiiiiine. I enjoy it at night, normally the water tempature is warmer then the air so it feels like a big hot tub
