Really? They don't want to fix the Yeti because it's big, expensive, blah, blah, blah......fine, but really how much would it cost to fix the Swedish Chef? :veryconfu
What will it take for the powers that be to start fixing things? :brick:

Yea thats pretty bad, its been over a month now. But remember, the Swedish chef is among one of the most advanced AAs in any of the parks. I think it goes something like;

1-the yeti
2-Hopper
3-the wicked witch
4-Swedish Chef!!!

yup looks like disney has decided that the average guest most likely wont even notice that the most important parts of these attractions are missing. its just not a high priority for them to keep the attractions up and running at 100 percent. Really sad.

Saw Muppets yesterday. Chef and cannon are definitely still M.I.A.

I felt embarrassed for Disney as guests were looking around at the end of the show to see why the characters on screen were discussing a cannon.

Everything else was working though. Just no chef. I agree that he and his cannon are crucial elements to the "story" being told in this show.

I agree that Disney does not have a great track record on these things, however, it is still a short term loss, of something that worked for a long time. These AA's are not off the shelf, maybe they are waiting on parts?

O.k. yes, the yeti has been years, and yes that does definitely ruin their credibility... I'm just saying it might not yet be time to give up on them. Soon maybe, but not yet.

Well this is a bummer... It seems like everyday we hear about a new issue that has not been addressed at the parks....

Yet the apologists will come out and will keep drinking Disney's Kool-Aid by letting us know that sometimes there are little problems here and there. The property is a disgrace now. The decline in the Pressler era at WDW was relegated to light bulbs and peeling paint.

Now, we've taken those items and added in non and or poor functioning attractions including core elements such as Audio Animatronics, projectors, sound systems, etc. If I'm paying a premium and way higher price to visit the Disney properties today, the least of what they can do is have a high quality, properly functioning product.

Probably out for a refurb. I know I'm usually one of the only ones in the theater who turn around to watch when its that time.

Thats so funny you say that. I was gonna post that when this thread started:lol: I have been in Muppet Vision at least 25 or more times, and whenever I'm there 80 to 90 percent for the crowd never looks back there. I always make it a note to kind of almost stand up, and look at the Chef, just so other people know he's there. Next time any of you are there, watch how many people never even look at SC :wave:
