SW Mine Train = Grizzly Gulch? CircusLand = TSL?

Ouch. I wonder if the new areas for the FLE could be re-purposed versions of the lands being built in Hong Hong and Paris?

After all, Grizzly Gulch is described as a "runaway mine train" and many of the rides in Toy Story Land could easily be re-purposed to a circus them (especially the Parachute Drop – which could be a balloon drop). As much as Dis has liked carbon-copying rides across different parks, this seems to make sense with the rumors we've been hearing.

Nah.
The SW ride is much smaller scale, and the Circus area will not feature any of the same rides as the Toy Story area.

Should we be thinking, Barnstormer scale? That seems like about the size that would fit. A few "slow" show scenes, then over a hill and a short thrilling trip through the mine, only to be "safe and happy" at the end.

That's just what I envision it could be, no info on it.

Don't focus so much on the coaster word. It's not going to be a genuine coaster from what I understand.

Nah....it'll be better than that.

As I understand, it is a coaster ride system.

Funny, in my mind, it was pretty cool. So, better than that is good. I wasn't trying to downplay it.

The fact is, the amount of space they have couldn't fit, for example, Big Thunder--and Barnstormer would be about the right size. I imagine elaborate show scenes and animatronics, glowing gems and such. I suppose a tall show building could be made to be a large mountain, and could house something indoors. I wonder about how it will fit in the Fantasy Forest theme . . . .

Or . . . could be Matterhorn-like, zipping in and out of a mountain.

Hmmm.

In any event, I believe you that it will be cool. Dying to find out more, as we all are!

I don't get why people are shooting down the SW ride that's coming. I think it's kinda cool! :) Just everyone I talk to hates the idea. A cool name for the ride could be "Dopey's Wild Mine"

But it could be like very big right? with like show scenes within it? And the carts come in and out of the mountian?

I WISH we got Grizzly Gulch. Move over BTMRR, the new runaway train is a-comin' and it looks ... perfect!! Just... thousands of miles away =(

SWSA is my favorite ride, hands down (although I greatly prefer the DL version).

I will be fine with this so long as it's a better experience. I really want to hear more details before I get my undies in a bunch about removing SWSA. There need to be show scenes, and they need to be better than what we have now (and I'm not talking projections and that kind of BS).

If it's for a better Snow White ride, I am all for it. I just want to know more about what it is the ride will actually entail.

Yeah I just think we should wait and see what we get. For all we know we could be getting a new ride but it's a remake of the classic attraction :)

I think you're setting your sights too high. Snow White isn't going to be that big/instense.

I remember you saying it's not going to be very coaster like though?

who the heck are you and why do you speak as if you know exactly what is going on until Lee comes in...then you seem to shudder away from your confidence... are you just repeating what you've heard on here? or do you actually have information?

The truth of the matter is that no one really knows for sure what's going on. For anyone to state otherwise is completely ridiculous. I've seen the people in question making statements like they know exactly what's going on, only to be completely wrong (this person said just last week that the teacups wouldn't be having any work done to the roof – wrong!). :ROFLOL:

Take everything with a grain of salt and have fun. No one knows any more than anyone else.

completely agree. but people should also post things in a way that is clear that they don't have extra knowledge. There are alot of casual readers on here that might mistake someone's post for truth even though that person had no real knowledge of what was going on. I'm just saying...

This is why I am holding on to the idea they may build the area closely following the artist renderings but with the venues (m&g's) repurposed and a large portion of the new ride dropping down beneath the structures at utilidor level. I'm just saying it would be awesome if they did that. Speculation on my part.

Also, since they are reimagining the central "island" maybe they are also widening the paths to make them parade friendly.

I'm picturing Heimlich's Chew Chew(DCA) with repurposed figures from the attraction. Anything better than that would just be gravy.
